So I suggest an option to allow the sonic to scan for a TARDIS you have paired. So you face the direction of the TARDIS and it makes a beeping noise that progressively gets faster the closer you are looking/getting to it.
Why this would be cool is incase you loose your TARDIS and haven't made a stattenheim or left it in the TARDIS, youll always then be able to find it (as long as you remember the sonic screwdriver)

damm , this is a goood idea , i would really want this , this would make the sonic even more useful !
