I think a good way to add it is..
-if the player have low health, half a heart for example, then the player will regenerate
-if they suffer deadly damage while regenerating then they die
-the player can actually regenerate in a random skin in a defined folder?
-Limited regenerations
Limited by 3 modes:Easy, Normal and Hard
Easy: The regen limit counter restarts every time the player respawns/fails to regenerate
Normal: player runs out of regens even if he respawns and will always die from now on without the chance to regenerate
hard: instead of dying, the player regenerates and if the player fails to regenerate and/or die he can't respawn anymore like hardcore minecraft

Just give John a break, he's the only coder in SWD. And I think U45 will be focusing on mobs rather than this.

You should add like a mode just like hardcore but when you die you regenerate like a timelord to a new body and the mode could be named TimeLord and from options you can add all the skins to all the regenerations so you can chose how you will look after regeneration :) And you start on Gallifrey instead of earth if you want but i hope you want to add this mode its a idea i just came up while playing your amazing mod Thank you :)

I said so but its regeneration its a lottery so random would be better but you can choose some and they will be in random order

I like the idea but honestly I think that is impossible because if you die you die that is automatic with vanilla minecraft I think the regeneration is impossible to make.
Ever heard of the new totem ? It stops you from dying just use the basic coding of that item and just edit it as you want

I have an idea. What if to get off Galifrey you had to kill some Time Lord guards and steal a TARDIS to fly to Minecraftia. SWDteam could make it so you had to break into a TARDIS factory or whatever and steal one. Just an idea
