[Dalek Mod Suggestion] Fob Watch/Chameleon Arch

Hey, why's that admin posting a suggestion!?

Name of Feature: Fob Watch and Chameleon Arch (Human Nature, Family of Blood)

Small Description: A Timelord Fob Watch and Chameleon Arch

In-Show Lore: In the episodes Human Nature/The Family of Blood the Doctor needed to hide himself from The Family of Blood, so he used a Timelord Fob Watch as well as a Chameleon Arch to rewrite his biology and transform himself into human.  The Fob Watch stored his memories inside, he took on an entirely new identity, blissfully unaware of who he truly was.

How it would work in-game: These two items (being the Fob Watch and Chameleon Arch) could be used in tandem with each other to make one player "unaware" (it is a game, after all) of what a Tardis is and how to use it. A Chameleon Arch could be placed in one's Tardis (and perhaps spawn by default in the Coral? One for the model checklist!) and be used to rewrite one's DNA so that they are a "human" and therefore unable to use the Tardis.

Afterward, one would use a Fob Watch to store their memories (after exiting the Tardis!) and would not recognise any Doctor Who items.

For example, when attempting to use the Sonic Screwdriver the chat would say "...I don't know what this is..." and nothing would happen function wise. And when trying to enter any Police Box the chat would say "...Why would I want to go in there?.." and the door would not open.

If one is holding a Fob Watch that has memories enclosed it will sometimes play a whispering sound, but one couldn't open it until after about 3 in-game days. Once opened your "memories" would flood back and you would be able to enter the Tardis again.

Huh, the Fob Watch and Chameleon Arch. I've done a thread on the same topic.

This is definitely a unique implementation of it. I have to ask, is this just a object for fun/roleplay, or does it have a use practical use?

sounds like a good idea but maybe there could be an option to toggle it on or off in the config menu?

Practical. Can be used to evade mobs that have a thing against Timelords

Nice Idea Ford, I like this becuase its another just for fun random Item. It could be good for trolling people, because if you get them to click it (Maybe you could say it would make them a Timelord), then they fly their TARDIS which would be funny. wink
