Name of Feature:  TARDIS sound options tab

Description: An option to change sound settings for your TARDIS!  A little box would be in the top right of the tardis monitor GUI with the audio symbol on it ( as seen in picture1 ).   That audio symbol would lead you to a tab with some options (picture 2 ).    

As the descriptions suggest,  one would toggle the TARDIS to play its sound  constantly while in flight, and the other would toggle wether or not it would also play while in the flight panel mode.

Down at the bottom of picture 2 is a box labeled "change TARDIS sounds ",  this would give you 4 options for your TARDIS noises,  including Doctor(default),  Master,  Rani,  And custom.  Custom would bring up a TARDIS WIP panel-style GUI where the player could input their own sound command,  but only sound commands and nothing else.  Sound refferences will be included in the spoilers of the other info section. 

Lore/Brief Background: None really,  but not all TARDIS(s)  make the same noise, as seen in the show.

How does this affect gameplay: When options are selected the new noises will be heard both INSIDE and OUTSIDE the TARDIS.  This is more of a personalization thing and wont affect gameplay that much.

I support this idea, as it could be quite useful for roleplays and just general playing. However, it would be nice to have a bit more customization, with Toyota flight sounds alongside the regular Doctor TARDIS sounds in the mod.

Maybe also this could also allow for alternate hums?

Maybe you could add the 8th Doctor's TARDIS SFX to this list as the 8th Doctor's TARDIS sounded different to how the TARDIS usually did. Other than that, SUPPORT!

You have support from me but another idea would be to maybe add custom sounds? like mp3 files or ogg

 This would only work in singleplayer, unless they created an online database where they upload sounds just so everyone can hear it.

 I don't think this would work because everyone would be asking how to create custom sounds and then people could upload non tardis sounds, it would be a mess

Were there any other major TARDIS sounds?

 i looked over the flight sounds from every other doctor,  they mostly sound the same,  there was a couple that i left out but that was because they only sounded different in ONE episode

Maybe there could be a option for the player to use a YouTube video or direct links to their own custom sounds?

Something like the Garry's mod TARDIS addon. That would be nice 

 That would be cool,  but it would only work on singleplayer, otherwise dalek mod would have to make an online database to load in every sound people upload or use links to get.

This is interesting, I'm assuming to make it easier, each Tardis has it's own sound? Idk it's your suggestion.
