Suggestions for Weeping Angels's and Ingame Features

Feature: The Weeping Angel instead of just teleporting you a few blocks away and damaging you,it insteads teleports you to a random dimension but if its health is low like below 8 it insteads one shots anyone ignoring armour and it gains back 5 health.

Ingame feature: What if random damaged tardises spawn in diff dimensions and each dimension has differnt spawn chance(earth:5% per chunk nether:0.02%per chunk Skaro 10%per chunk and so on)But in these tardises you will find a corspe or a skeleton of a timelord with a key and a dairy containing a random story that can be summitted to the swdteams website via a forum or something. But these tardises are exteremly buggy and are missing chunks in the wall and have a 50% chance of exploding when demating and remating but could contain some useful item for the mod that you need in the future

Ingame Feature:A console block that can read a special type of paper that contains coords to somthing can be made or found if found they could be the coords of a dalek city or the citidel or somthing like a dungeon and can be crafted and if crafted can be fitted with custom coords

Planet/dimension kinda:What if random "cracks in time" spawns in when specific events take place(the more rare the event the bigger the crack)for example if a creeper gets struck by lighting with out using modded items or commands instead of spawning a charged creeper it spawns a crack in time,or if say you respawn the enderdragon 11 times it spawns a crack in time and so on but in a 10x10 area around the crack if any mob no matter the size of it it will be removed (NOT KILLED) from the game but if a player touches it they will be transported to a completely white dimesnion and can no longer chat with the outside world and can only come back if someone in a server types their username in chat and they respawn either in their tardis if they have one or at their spawn point but cracks in time can only be closed if someone with a tardis eneters the crack   (that is all i hope to get a response quick)

Cool suggestion but wouldn't that make the weeping angels way to op like a weeping angel teleporting you to skaro + you have no tardis + you are armed with good gear. Like i would hate that cause you can't get your stuff back. But other than that great suggestion laughing

Well thats idea make the angels OP they are suppose to be the scariest beings in the universe and it would prob help if something like their spawn rate is turned down and like they ignore you if you have a pumkin on your head or something

Oh ok well than i guess that is fair then ok that sounds cool

So, I read through the thread. There were a lot of good ideas, but I think a few could be a bit more detailed. I typed any thoughts I had in the spoiler below. The review is in sections for each suggestion in the main thread

Formatting advice/general advice:
Normally I wouldn't comment on grammar, but you used a lot of run-on sentences or missed punctuation, which caused many sentences to run together. For some people this can get confusing and make a thread harder to read.

As for organization, it's advised to keep a single thread on one suggestion or a number of closely related suggestions. Sticking to one theme at a time tends to help make thread easier to follow, more memorable, and easier to track back to by thread title (compared to having a bunch of miscellaneous topics in one thread). But this point is just my opinion, honestly.

That sounds broken tbh. Sure, accuracy is important and all, but discretion is neccessary. The Gel Guard mobs, for example, are made of antimatter in The Three Doctors. Ideally, they should kill anything they touch and not be able to be harmed by anything. In the mod, however, they can be injured just like any other mob, and don't instantly kill players regardless of health.

if a player touches it they will be transported to a completely white dimesnion and can no longer chat with the outside world and can only come back if someone in a server types their username in chat and they respawn either in their tardis if they have one or at their spawn point but cracks in time can only be closed if someone with a tardis eneters the crack

This is very creative, but you have to keep Singleplayer mode in mind.

The suggestion for randomly spawning damaged Tardises which contain Tardis blocks has already been suggested  a number of times tbh, but the chance of the randomly spawned damaged Tardises exploding and the inclusion of a written record amongst the wreckage are new ideas.

I'm reminded of the Lost Books mod somewhat tbh.

The records would definitely make the wrecks a bit more realistic, in a sense, and could provide another interesting thing to do ingame. Additionally, I can see the possibility of a writer's contest, which would definitely be something interesting for the community to participate in.

Having a risk factor for Tardis wrecks is pretty cool too. Having unexpected things happen definitely makes things more fun, and, realistically, one should be wary before interacting with a damaged piece of machinery.

All in all, I really like the ideas and hope to see them implemented at some point.

I definitely support this. I've had the idea myself, although my version involved using the Sonic or Handles rather than paper.

I can see paper as something that would definitely be much more economic. Sure waypoints are a thing, but I can see the use of it in adventure maps (ie: placed in chests) or amongst travel companions in game.

One thing I have to advise is including details about the special paper. How to get it for example and its commonness/rarity.

Also, I'd advise elaborating a bit more on the point of the paper being read. Some example questions:

Would the paper be reusable? Does it cause a demat/remat upon being read? Does it create a new waypoint?

this is a great idea, but what if your in singleplayer? my idea is to have a limited time until you respawn with all your items after 1 hour of being in there. if you log out the timer stops but if you stay in it carries on until the time is up. this would be togglable on servers from your idea to this idea in the server config menu but would stay this idea if singleplayer.

@Fuzzyleo maybe in single-player you still go to the white dimension but your only there for 10 or so minutes

i wasn't inteding for the time to be exact. im just making a suggestion.

Maybe instead of ten minutes, about 2 or 3? Cos in my opinion ten is a lot :P

@FuzzyLeo either way its done in the end its just a cool suggestion thats up to the mod creators to implement if they find it awesome
