Beds go BOOM!

I'm fairly new to the recent Dalek mod and I spent a while looking for an answer so I'm sorry if this has been answered before. I made a custom TARDIS interior in singleplayer creative to test everything out and placed a bed in it but, when I tried to sleep...it exploded. I know it's been a while since I updated the mod but, I don't remember beds exploding. I was wondering if maybe this was the result of one of the other mods I have installed but, I wanted to be sure. I also had problem creating a spawn point in the TARDIS for a little parkour mini game I was playing with but, when I dropped into the void to kill myself (for testing purposes of course and not because I'm clumsy and fell) I spawned back in the overworld instead of the spawnpoint I made. Is this just how it is now or can this be fixed?

It's been a while since I last played too, but this has long since been a thing. As of now, there's yet to be a way to set a spawnpoint in a Tardis outside commands. (If you're using a bed for decoration, I strongly recommend using wool or clay blocks - maybe with carpets).

I believe this is just how beds work,  they explode in any dimension that isnt the overworld, they explode in the nether, the end, the tardis, and i'm fairly certain that they do in every other dm planet

Luckily I have a mod with some decorative beds for aesthetics. I tried the /spawnpoint  <target>  <coords> and it says the spawn point was set but I still ended up in the overworld after respawn.  Is there another command to achieve this?

So far I know a bed or the spawnpoint are the only ways to set a spawnpoint. I think you can only respawn in the Overworld dimension.

Well that's slightly disappointing. I hope that changes at some point.

Well I think it can't be fixed because if you can't sleep in the Nether or in the End then there is probaly no way to fix it.

I meant Minecraft in general. Sry, I should have specified.  It would be nice if setting a spawn in another dimension was possible. It would be fun for mini games.
