 the first version i played was 1.2.1 and my favorite will be 1.9

My first version of Mc I played on was 1.3 when it first came out.

I then, (somehow), ended up taking a MASSIVE break between versions 1.4 and 1.7, and rejoined MC in version 1.7.10.

My favorite version will be 1.8.x, or is it 1.9? Hmmm......

(I have an interesting story behind my username.... The shorten version is that it started out as "srat23", then changed to "srat232" since it was more unique!)

My first version was the Minecraft Classic Demo and my first full game version was 1.5.X and my favourite is 1.8

My first version was either beta or classic, i just can't remember which. I was playing a version that had a bug where if you went into water, you would get trapped because the water would turn into a solid block thats hard to break. My favorite version is 1.11

I remember the massive change in game direction felt in the jump from 1.7.3 Beta to 1.8 Beta. When experience points, villages, and strongholds were all introduced. But I think the thing that shocked me the most was the lighting change. No longer was it just dark, but it had color. I remember being so thrilled about it but nowadays I miss that old simple lighting... It goes a long way to show how just the hue on-screen can affect how a game feels. It'll always be my favorite version, outdated but simple good times before the shift to more RPG focused elements.
