Ben's Entry for Tardis of the Week - Rainbow

Hey All! So this week I've been a NERD! I thought about making some xenophobic stereotypical leprechaun thing but then thought I could go sciencey! I'm totally not trying to appeal to Matt.... SO REFRACTION - WHITE LIGHT GO THROUGH PRISM THEN WE GET MAGICAL RAINBOWS! That's the science right Matt? Any questions direct them to him, thanks. NOW ON WITH THE TARDIS! (Also no one has complimented me on my nice formatting of each one of these, it takes me over half an hour to write each of these, say nice things, thanks)

The Design

Design Explanation

So it focuses all on refraction of white light. I built it in black, since that makes the light stand out most. You can see a light beam travelling from the door into the console, where it diffracts outwards creates a spectra. That science is absolutely terrible but it looks cute so shh Matt. HOWEVER the science is in the prism above the console, shown in the last picture. The white light enters the prism, refracts into the glass widening, then refracts outwards producing a spectrum of light. And YES MATT,  I did the maths and made sure the colours were the right way round!!! If anyone wants a better explanation speak to Matt. Ily <3. And then around the place is crystals, because cute init.

Ben this is really cool! I like how it isn't all just really colourful, but you have added lots of rainbow to the dark areas. I particularly appreciate how many sea lanterns you have placed in that design, and you're formatting is always great :) Great job, I can't wait to see your next design!
