I think it would be quite cool if there was an option that if you were right next to a TARDIS, and it dematted, you would hang on as the vortex rushed past you, just like in Utopia, with Jack Harkness. Maybe it would give you a few bad effects, like poison? And if you moved while they were flying through the vortex, you would fall, die and the death message would be '[player name] lost his grip...'
