Reporting Issues/Crashes:

Q: How do I report bugs/ glitches/ problems?

 A: If you found any problems please post them in the Bug reports thread so that we can fix them. Please use this format here so the Team can read it easily. 

Q: I have a crash report. What do I do?

A:Before you post a crash report please do the following,

1. Search for the error in the crash report. There should be in the crash report. (see below)
   
2. Check your list of mods and make sure they are all made for the version of Minecraft you are running
3. Basically use this format here and you will be fine.
   

Server Questions:

Q: Is there an official Dalek Mod server? If so, how do I access the server?

 A: There are two servers: Public and Private (Beta Acess users only)

• Everyone in the private server will be in creative.
• Everyone in the public server will be in survival. Exceptions are VIP donators or Admins/Moderators.

• To access the public server, use the Dalek mod title screen and click on the button on the left with the green bars.
• To access the private server, do the above and click on the button on the left with the red Dalek icon.
  

Q: What is the ip for the server?

A: There is an ip if you prefer using that.

• dmu.swdteam.co.uk- Private server (Requires SWD Beta Access)
• dmu.swdteam.co.uk:25564 - Public Server

Q: How do i get on the server (Private/Public)?

 A: You need to download the latest version of the Dalek Mode,either from the Dalek Mod product page (for public server) or the "Beta Products" page ( for the private server).

• Open Minecraft and you'll see buttons to the left.
  
• The button with green bars is the public one
• The Dalek icon takes you to the Private server!

 Q: How do I donate and what do I get in terms of perks?

A: You can donate certain amounts of money ONCE to SWDTeam. The higher you pay, the more rewards you can access.  Donate here

• Under $5": You get a shiny "Donator" Badge! Unfortunately you don't get anything else, but it shows you have done a nice thing for SWD!
• $5 or more: You get SOME World Edit commands and access to the Tardis flight panel on the DMU Public server.
• $15 or more: You get the VIP rank called "SWDBae" which allows you even more World Edit commands, creative mode and a purple "SWDBae" title in-game!
• Difference between Donator and Beta Tester:
  • Beta lets you access the DMU Private server
    
  • Donator does not. To get both WE commands and access to the DMU Private, you must donate and buy Beta.

Note that if you want to buy Beta Access you need to pay seperately or write a seperate email/request to the Team or all the money will go towards the server and you won't get Beta Access.

Q: Is there a RP chat?

A: Yes, an admin or Moderator can add you into a private rp chat. Use /msg to tell them if you are finished

Q: I can't get on the server even if its page says it's online! What do i do?

A: Sometimes the server goes offline even though the page says it's online. Just wait until it updates showing the real status of the server

Q. How Can I tell if an Admin is online?

A. Admins have colored names. Also doing /list creates a unique list of players online, also stating their positions

Q. How can I become an Admin?

A. It really depends on your level of maturity and ability to deal with a variety of users.

That means no hinting/asking/begging to be a staff member, it shows you are not patient enough and possibly want the rank for it's power.

Staff watch suitable users and mark them according to a criteria.

Q. Can I be a Doctor?

A. The position is only available to admins and is strictly for rp purposes. One must also go through a series of rigorous tests to become an admin (source needed)

 Q. How do I get my name Colored?

A. Again, only Admins have colored names

• Note: Not all admins have the same in-game username as their SWD website Username

Why I ban the Dalek Mod Universe server

A friend I was wondering why I was ban we do not know and say I was doing that via the forum here is my nickname is: Skypha985

How can i fix this problem?

IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host 

Everytime i try coming on to the server it lets me in for 5 seconds then it just says that

how can i become an admin?

You have to apply to become an admin, if you wish to apply check the discord.  Even if you apply there is no guarantee that they will accept you. There is also no guarantee that they will even view your application.

1. You can apply here and like Nihilus said we can't guarantee we that we will accept you or even view your application. 

2. I will lock this thread since this thread is from 3 years ago and is outdated.
