The Dalek Mod is missing the "space"  feel to it. In the show, The Doctor flies the TARDIS around in space, but in the mod, there is no outer space.

Also, what would be cool, it to be able to open the TARDIS interior doors and see stars, etc. when in "space". (But, I guess that goes along with 'Bigger on the inside')

Maybe you could add a few unique details to make your suggestion perhaps stand out?

What about going out of the TARDIS in space and being able to float around (and the TARDIS).

Or... Space rocks, asteroids, etc. are randomly generated throughout.

Or perhaps, show the nearby planets, Earth, for example. If you flew toward it in the TARDIS, you would spawn in the overword (still flying the TARDIS) high above the ground, and falling. To give the 'crashing' effect...
