Feature: An In game guide to the Dalek Mod

Description of Feature: Lost? Don't know how to craft a Tardis? Don't know where to look for Dalek Storm? Unsure how to tame K9? Well we should have a guide to assist us and help us answer these questions. 

It should have 

• Tardis Commands, how to use them, what kind of things you type into them, and what they do.
• Detailed info on each travel destination
• Detailed info on each randomly generating structure
• Mob information
• Links to youtube videos (they should not replace written information, but rather help further understanding)
• Crafting recipies
• Locations of ores/items
• Links to important places (The MC forums page, SWD website and forums, and the team youtube channel)

What is the purpose of this: Not all of us like to spend hours digging through stuff trying to find information on the mod.Sure the team has videos, but how are most people supposed to know where to look? Plus a simple image of a crafting recipe would save people a lot of time in contrast to watching a video. In addition, looking online requires an internet connection. An in game guide would help people play on the go

How do you suggest we implement it in game: I've seen a lot of mods do this. The Thaumonomicon book of Thaumcraft and the Tardis libraries of the Tardis mod are great examples of what I mean. I suggest a guide either be activated by a keybind or located in a book that is not too hard to craft.

Yes! Way better than the outdated Dalek Mod wikia. It's good and all but isn't formatted in the best way.

I didn't think of it being in-game but now that you've pointed it out, it could work really well. Plus that way the community will be able to be redirected to that guide and won't have to ask so many similar questions! 

I would love to make this a reality. Do you want to collaborate and make the Guide together?

Not sure I could keep on it all the time, with all the projects I have, but for the community, I'll contribute what I can.

Only thing is that these two bugs might cause trouble seeing how long a guide here might be

Now that I think about it, I think it'll be more convenient for the player if the guide is accessed via a key bind. Maybe if they  pressed "G" a GUI could come up rather than some enchanted book. Your wall display format for the guide isn't too bad, I'm just thinking they could access it easier.

Excellent idea. Often when I have needed to craft items, I had to look online. This would be so much easier

Dalek Storm spawned in jungle biomes, last I checked in Update 38.
