Hello, i'm Tumblr_cat and i'm an admin on both the DMU servers, here you will find some tips on how to "survive" in the Dalek Mod servers as well as a FAQ section to avoid asking questions that have been frequently answered before

Survival Guide to the Dalek Mod Universe public server

New to the server? Here are some helpful tips!

• You can buy Tardis and most of its items(such as chairs, demat lever..)in the shop right at spawn!
• Always buy a Tardis wall display to put in your house, just in case you loose it and you don't wanna spend 64 iron ingots on a new one
• Some items might be banned for a certain reason(s), recently the 11th Doctor's first console room was banned as people were farming iron from it
• Admins and other staff help users, you are welcome to help too, as long as you know what you're doing
• Don't ask for items to people, most of them are in the shop and you can buy with the commonly found iron

Now for some rules. There are some punishments too, break the rules and you'll find them out :)

1. No parking Tardises at spawn, if the Tardis isn't removed after a 3rd warning it will be put in an impound near the server's jail
2. Admins and other staff have creative mode, thus most of them won't trade items
3. No asking staff for items, this is a survival server
4. No vulgar language
5. No talking about religious topics on the server, they very often lead to arguments
6. No constantly spamming with or without caps lock for a request, the server usually gets 30-40 users every day so it's not easy helping everyone
7. Staff is chosen by other staff
8. No advertising other servers

Survival Guide to the Dalek Mod Universe beta access server

In this server you are in creative mode! :D There are many different things that make this server different from the public one! Such as...

• A bigger, expanded world, with more towns, areas to explore and more!
• Deep roleplay lore! Get your character involved with the events that unfolds in the different towns of the server!
• Indipendency! Being in creative mode you can just grab stuff from the inventory! Yay :D
• Less people! The beta server usually gets 10-20 users at best so you can get to know other users and staff members easily!
• More rules! The rules board is my only friend :D.....help me ;-;

As always, here are some rules to follow to avoid being blown to smitheerens by destructive coders

1. No parking Tardises at spawn, in the middle of the streets or places where it's said that Tardis parking is prohibited
2. Donators+ can use /tp so always ask before teleporting to other players
3. Roleplay characters such as "The 16th Doctor" or "The  Historian" or "Super Perfect Power Princess" or similars are often frowned upon, be original!
4. Items like tnt and nitro-9 are banned for obvious reasons
5. Always wait a few days to post spoilers about TV shows/movies or others of the sort

Questions with a "*" are asked in both servers

Q: Help! I lost my Tardis! What do i do!*

A: Accidents like these happen if you step into someone else's Tardis and your key gets linked to this other Tardis, to fix this, enter your normal Tardis or. To prevent this, always place down a Tardis Wall Display/Tardis Display Screen to know your Tardis' exact coordinates

Q: How do i become staff?*

A: First of all you must act like a staff member, be helpful, follow the rules, speak clear english(as this is a british server)and be mature, there's no age restriction but a certain level of maturity is required

Q: User X is breaking the rules! What do i do?*

A: You've already done enough, he will be decapited in the town square and you will receive a cookie :D

Q: A staff member is being abusive! Help!*

A: See above

 Q: Item Z isn't in the shop, how do i aquire it?

A: Sadly, you don't. It will be implemented later on as we are still trying to include in the shop all the variants of roundels, monitors and other items

Q: How do i manually fly the Tardis?

A: This feature is available only to  beta testers and above ranks, so default users can't use it

Frequently asked Questions(Private server)

Q: Noone wants me in roleplays! Why is that?

A: Perhaps the character you're being in roleplay is a bit too overpowered, try adding some flaws and what not, to make him more likeable

Q: Why am i in gamemode 0(survival)?

A: Might be a bug in the ranks system, just ask a member of staff to fix that

Q: What do i get by donating?*

A: You get a donator rank(if you donated less than £15)which grants you World Edit and /tp aswell as the /nick command. By donating £15 or more you get the SWDBae rank which gives more World Edit commands and if you donate a lot you get a custom rank with custom commands that you can choose

 Hi there. Could you tell me more in detail what happened? Were you banned when you tried to join the server? Or were you banned while you were on the server?

Might want to add that manual flight via the panels is only usable to Beta+, and that hat stands aren't in the shop.

i got banned but i dont know why please help

 hey i got baned but idk why could you please help. i got banned when i went on the sever it said you are banned! reason an opperater banned you. i dont know what i did wrong

I am not sure why you were banned but I believe I was there during it.

Look on the 15th of jan 2016 I posted a message saying that I got banned for no reason and nothing has happed so could you do something about it.

 I can't because i don't know when or why you were banned, what were you doing prior to the ban? What message do you get when trying to join the server? Was any staff on the server when you got banned?

Ok I cant rember what I was doing prior to the ban I think I was mining iron. when i join the server it says YOU ARE BANNED FROM THE SERVER! REASON: BANNED BY OPERATOR. Im not sure if any staff was on the server at the time.
