Name of Feature: TARDIS Power System
Description: It's basically a system which increases the similarity of the TARDIS systems to the canon one, which implies that nothing works without power (Flatline)
Lore/Brief Background: The TARDIS power system had always been a crucial part of the TARDIS, as well as the dematerialisation circuit and chameleon circuit etc. There had also been several episodes exploring the idea.
How does this affect gameplay: It simply made TARDIS less OP when operating. When the forcefield is implemented into Dalek mod 1.8, this can act as a nerf to the TARDIS forcefield, making it easier to penetrate and harder for the player to escape. A setting in the config file could be implemented to toggle whether this system would be implemented or not.

Any other information: This idea was originally from the TARDIS panel functions thread, from which I edited my own ideas to be suitable to Update 46:
The power system what keeps the TARDIS systems going, i.e. navigation systems etc. The power (i.e. Artron energy) is generated by the eye of harmony (If they are going to plan that, that would be best. If no, then let's assume that the TARDIS generates power on its own.) Some systems drain power when enabled and have limited uses in a certain period of time (dematerialisation and flying) This allows an increased level of difficulty in the game.
TARDIS power system:
Dematerialisation is quite special, you need both Zeiton-7 crystals and power to operate. This increases difficulty and prevents overpowering.
The rate of power regeneration changes linearly with the difficulty
As a reference, the power system could be as followed:
Energy regenerates at a rate of 0.5% per second for peaceful, 0.2% for easy, 0.1% for normal, 0.05% for hard.
Dematerialisation drains power at a rate of 5% per trip for peaceful, 10% per trip for easy, 20% per trip for normal, 30% per trip for hard.
What do you think about it, it's not perfect, so leave a comment below to further improve it!
Got my idea from the Doctor Who Client Mod
Originally from the TARDIS panel functions thread
Information from the TARDIS Technical Index and the Doctor Who Wiki
Name of Feature: TARDIS maintenance system
Description: Let's say that your TARDIS got shot by Daleks, your TARDIS isn't able to dematerialise and you are stuck. You've got to find a way to repair it don't you. Or maybe your TARDIS is suffering from a causal breakdown, and you forgot to turn on your stabilisers (getting to there in a moment), you crashed and you're stuck. What should you do? The TARDIS maintenance system is here to help.
When the TARDIS needs maintenance, the display wall would display that maintenance is needed, the planet and time zone gui would also change to allow you to access the maintenance gui.
Maintenance would require 1-7 buckets/ingots of mercury (getting there…), Zeiton-7 Crystals and steel
Lore/Brief Background: In the early tv series, the TARDIS is always depicted as having a broken fluid link. Also in later series, the TARDIS occasionally breaks down.
How does this affect gameplay: This would make the TARDIS more realistic.
Image(rough sketch/draft acceptable):
Any other information: A setting in the config file should be implemented to toggle whether this system would be used or not
Name of Feature: Stabilisers
Description: It stabilises your TARDIS to make it less prone to random breakdown. (Breakdown probability decreases from 1% to 0.1%). Drains power by 0.1% per 100 seconds
Lore/Brief Background: Remember the blue stabilisers from the Byzantium? This is basically it.
How does this affect gameplay: Balances the game

Any other information:
Name of ore: Cinnabar
Description: Gives mercury when smelted.
Lore/Brief Background: It's present in TARDIS fluid links and will be useful if the maintenance system is implemented.
How does the player obtain it: The ore is distributed in the same way as iron, a stone pickaxe or above tiers could mine it
Why should this be implemented: It will be useful if the maintenance system got implemented.
Image(rough sketch/draft acceptable):
Any other information: Mercury could be produced by smelting it. But since mercury is a liquid at sea level, a bucket is needed to hold it in place, but I've got no idea how to put mercury into a bucket after smelting, so please give some ideas and suggestions!
Apart from the suggestion above, what other TARDIS systems could be implemented? Suggest below!
I don't think I can add anything right now, you did well, good job. This has my support.
