Agree with Sub on this one. The rules are there to be followed. If you don't want to follow them (as you think certain rules are stupid) then you will not be welcome in the server. 

And a no political talk rule is a very common rule in a lot of communities. If you want to argue about politics do it elsewhere. Not everyone wants to see it

No-one told me the duration of my ban, let me guess, never.
