I was typing a REALLY amazing,  detailed, and pretty long suggestion not too long ago. I was finished and very happy with what I typed.

When I tried to post it I got an error, and it said I wasn't logged in.

I tried to log in in a separate tab and go back, but everything I typed was gone.

Lots of work. Down the drain.

Please fix this if you can, it's a REAL inconvenience and just left me frustrated after it happened.

By the way, I know this is isn't formatted.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I suggest using another program like Word to type up your post and fixing up the formatting issues  (that come up when porting your work onto the forums) when you are ready to post on the SWD forums. 

Or if you prefer writing your draft on the SWD Forums directly (which I can understand) try copy and pasting all your information into another program before posting, incase your login has timed out as you stated.

We will be fixing this issue. We will also be adding a "Keep me logged in" option.
