Day III BONUS:
“Uncle Tom, why is ‘the mine’ so dangerous?” I asked “Do you know the legends like: No one who ever enters this cave has left?” he asked. “Yes..?” “Well Jon.. Same thing happens here. The mine was dug before the village, a lot of people who worked there never came back to their family, something strange happened to them, but no one knows what.” “Is it possible that the angels were there? What was the plan for the mine? This could lead to the answer” “If it was like that... that makes... the mine... the house of the Weeping angels?!?! But this mean that there are more than five Weeping angels?” “Why?”. My Uncle looked at me dazed, as if he was surprised that I still didn’t get it. “Five photos of weeping angels means that there already are five!” “Oh! Wait.. So... there are five murderous statues who want to kill us?!” I was scared, I didn’t want to follow my uncle, but he pushed me. “Jon, now listen me - we need two torches with some batteries.” “No - I want to go home” “Jon, my dear, listen me, we need to blow up this mine so as to stop the angels.” “But, we don’t have any dynamite!” I said trying to change my Uncle’s mind. “Yes, we do!” he exclaimed pulling out a dozen sticks of dynamite from a barrel. With a backpack full of explosives, two flashlights and some spare batteries, we walked into the mine. To be continued in Day IV...
