Now I know its a really old feature but hear me out... lets be honest I know its called Dalek mod but there is equal if not more focus being put on the Tardis (which is not a bad thing) hence its been getting a lot of new features but one thing i think needs to be changed is removing the feature to summon the Tardis WITH THE KEY

I must emphasize I'm not suggesting getting rid of the ability to summon the Tardis but ill get to that in a bit first let me explain why this would be a good change

1.In the doctor who lore (on screen) the doctor has never summoned the Tardis with the key (the two doctors... wasn't using the key, time of the doctor... it was handles homing in on it not the key itself, fathers day...to be honest idk but it required a big battery it wasn't instant and it didn't end up working so I'm not counting it

2:"its Minecraft its alright to change aspects from the show" I hear you say but I have another "justification"...Picture this, your in your survival world or dmu public and you have your swords and guns and those sort of things on your person and then suddenly an army of mobs appear and there closing in almost like a movie what do you do...Well you proceed to look down key in hand right click and your gone... THATS BLOODY BORING that's a job for the vortex manipulator not the Tardis. It eliminates gameplay and while there are situations where that is useful its not worth making the Tardis well not act like a Tardis.

3. while I'm on dmu I obviously I like to "roleplay"/pretend I'm the doctor and I'm not the only one, why else is there so many police boxes and I like in fact I adore those moments of panic thinking on your feet being like where did I park, things like that I mean the amount of stories with a last minute getting into the Tardis I mean I'm

not even going to list them I mean its not like I can leave the key somewhere else part of being the doctor is locking and unlocking the Tardis sooo..

Solutions:

1. don't change the (rani's remote) because players can use that, or add the second doctors recall device as in the two doctors to summon your Tardis (its lore friendly and could act how the key does now)

2.add a tracking device base the model off of one of the sixth doctors gadgets which and detect Tardi so you can find them

3. personally I don't like this idea but I don't hate it... keep/improve handles ability to summon your Tardis

And while I have your attention add 4,7 and 8's keys 

Good idea. I would be against it but if you’re still suggesting having recall remotes then I love it! It’s lore friendly, makes sense, and would make getting a TARDIS just that much harder to craft the remote (which I like, it makes it so you still have something to do before you unlock everywhere). I think to add to this, to prevent people from loosing their TARDIS, whenever it’s in the vortex and there are no people in the TARDIS it’ll materialise within a 25x25 radius of world spawn (or on DMU, in TARDIS parking).

 Yea recall devices would probably have to be a thing if I got what I wanted I don’t quite understand what you mean with the tardis being stuck in the vortex 

I believe what they mean is if you somehow die inside your TARDIS while it's in flight (say, fall damage/falling into the void while building), and your only statenheim remote is inside the TARDIS, or lost to the void of the TARDIS dimension, it'd essentially become stuck in the vortex without help from someone with commands.

So, it automatically landing in that situation could be helpful, although I feel there are other solutions which could be better, I'm not sure.
