Crashing the Tardis

Hey,  I think it would be cool if the Tardis could crash. I think you could do something like it would have a random chance of crashing while flying. If it does crash it would

take you to random coordinates on a random planet, and you would have to wait a certain amount of time before you could fly the Tardis again.

Sorry about its format it is my first time making a thread.

I like the idea. Maybe there could also be smoke coming from the TARDIS whule it's fixing itself.

Interesting idea, but may I suggest Dimensional Ripples or  Rogue Time Winds?  Imo, the Temporal Celestial Timey Wimey Spacey way sounds a lot Who-Like than some random console malfunction. But then again... That's just like the Doctor's Tardis, lol.

  • Maybe while taking off, there's a small chance you'll get blown off course and land on a different place than the player intended. This is caused by Time Winds/DImensional Ripples
  • Sometimes being blown off course will Damages the Controls, and like you said,  the player would need to wait before taking off again. Likely a player would also need to fix the controls at some point while the Tardis is out of commision for it to actually be able to fly again
  • Tardis Controls Malfunctions would be extremely rare, but like you said always lead to crashing. Usually it's a planet near where you intended to land, sometimes it isn't. The Controls would need to be repaired before takeoff, regardless if it was an actual crash or not

And maybe when the malfunction thing happens and the TARDIS crashes you ned to go outside and when you get back its either fixed your interior or made a new interior

You know, I saw this post once, but I forgot about it. I made a post about "Hazards in the Vortex" recently and I guess a bit of this subconsciously influenced some of the things in my thread. I'll throw in credit to you somewhere for the whole "things going wrong in flight" idea
