so when I was loading up minecraft after installing the dalek mod and after loading up, before it even got to the minecraft loading screen it said this "Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation. The mod listed below does not want to run Minecraft version 1.8.9 (the dalek mod wants minecraft [1.8,1.8]) the file 'fml-client-latest.log contains more information" please can anyone help me on what this means.

It means that you are trying to run Dalek Mod on Minecraft 1.8.9. The Dalek Mod is only supported on 1.8 at the moment.

i know this is kinda 50ap5ud5's thing to say but maybe make this in a proper format and next time, try and post this thread in the right place. forums/bug reporting

and why would you run this on minecraft 1.8.9, your not supposed to do that! like 1WTC said its only supported for 1.8

basically you dont run 1.8 mods or lower or any versions between 1.8 and 1.8.9 of forge. Plus why would you try this?  if you have lag problems or anything like that on 1.8 just install optifine with it, that usually works
