Still banned, after writing a ban appeal and explaining that I use DMU to play with my friend, sleepercar0. He got banned for hoppering, and I hoppered too. Because I couldn't play Minecraft with him  anymore, I felt more then banned. Then two days before he got unbanned, I got banned. You can clear my inventory or do whatever you want. I just would like to be unbanned. I still don't understand why I was banned for an action I did a month ago deliberately before my friend got unbanned.

Sleeper was banned as he was hoppering as staff were online watching him, alongside the other instances they found.

Your ban was delayed due to the victim not logging on, therefore not reporting it.

Although we may be willing to shorten the ban length, due to our somewhat recent reconsideration of punishment,

we will absolutely not ignore instances where the rules were broken nor will we let you off easy.

You will have to wait out your ban.

Well,

 No one forced you to break the rules, you did that by yourself. You only have yourself to blame for the situation you're in now.

 You weren't banned when you did it because staff aren't able to check every base any player has ever made for griefs,

they usually have to wait until a report is made or they stumble upon it by chance.

Formless snake, as the person who banned you I am not allowed to review your appeal, other staff members reviewed the ban and decided to not accept your appeal, I don't know why you expect me to be able to do anything

As Jay said you were banned for a different grief than sleeper car, I discovered the grief after sleeper was already banned I decided to not extend his ban after I discovered the grief you both did but I can't let you of the hook after a month for such a large grief, trying to cause issues for no reason does not make you more likely to be unbanned, your ban will be shortened but you won't be unbanned.

We only greifed/stole on 2 days, and I understand that I shouldn't have done that. But I feel like not being able to play with my friend for 2 months (both our bans combined) is unnecessary for a punishment that only deserved 1 month. If you shorten my ban by 2 weeks or delete my ban right now, perma ban me on sight if I do something big that is against the rules.

I do blame myself, and I learned from sleepers ban (the 1st month I couldn't play with him).

 I didn't know that, but I want more understanding staff. Put yourself in my shoes. Would you be mad if you couldn't play with your friend for 2 months, instead of 1 (the reasonable time)?

What grief? Those 2 days were all that I did, before not logging on for a month (because sleeper was banned).

A few months ago we reconsidered punishments for breaking the rules, opting for bans of shorter durations,

alongside some ideas to implement on the upcoming 1.21 DMU.

Because of this, we might consider shortening the length of your ban.

However,  this isn't a negotiation, and we will not outright unban you because of your pleas.
