[Dalek Mod Suggestion] The Great Intelligence [Bosses and mobs]

(This has just been moved over from the mc forums. I'll begin reformatting this before this day is over)

 

With the Wispermen and the Snowmen in the mod, I was thinking that it would only make sense to add in the Great intelligence (as he is the the one who controls both) and perhaps his first minions (The Yeti from The Abominable Snowmen, Web of Fear, and Five Doctors). 

 

 

 

Blocks:

 

The Web

Where does come from:

  • It can spawn naturally in a location due to the presence of The Great Intelligence
  • It can be fired from Yeti guns like in the show.

Effects on the player

  • The web can harm and slow any who come in contact with it.

Balancing:

  • Of course, there would have to be a safe way to remove the web.
    • After the intelligence dies, the web blocks Decay like leaves. It will take some time for it to clear
    • Alternately, the player will use some special item. I'll have details on this item at a later time

 

 

Mobs:

 

Both Yeti:

Spawning: Yeti (never with web guns) spawn in Snowy regions when spawning naturally.

 

Yeti MK-1

Attacks:

  • Throw the Target (like an Iron Golem)
  • Attack the Target via melee (Like a Spider
  • Jump at the Target and attack (like a Spider)

Attack Style:

  • Their fighting style is a mixture of Zombies, Iron Golems, and, every now and then, Spiders (as in they might leap at you)

Spawning:

  • They Spawn naturally in Snowy Biomes

 

 

Yeti MK-2

 Differences from MK1:

  • They are stronger than the Mk-1 Variant
  • They carry Web Guns
  • They Don't spawn as often unless the intelligence is nearby

Spawning:

  • They Spawn near villages with the Great Intelligence
  • At a low chance, they may spawn independently in snowy areas. 

Attacks:

  • Web Gun
    • Fires web Blocks 
      • If the Yeti is independently spawning, the webs either...
        • go away after a few seconds (if you have mobGriefing set to false)
        • or will go away naturally after a long length of time (at least a large portion of an MC day or a few MC days) (if mobGriefing is set to true)
      • If the Yeti is spawned because of the intelligence, the webs will stay around until after the Intelligence has been defeated.

The Snowmen (Already in the mod, but I'd like to suggest changes)

Spawning: Spawns randomly in Icy/Snowy Biomes. Also can spawn for the Ice Governess

Stats:

  • Health- Relatively low
  • Defense- Low
  • Attack- Low
  • Speed- Normal

Traits: They aren't that strong alone, but in groups they can be very dangerous.

Weaknesses:

  • Weapons that have Fire Aspect or Flame
  • Lava
  • Desert Biomes
  • The Nether

Attacks:

  • Ice Breath
    • A relatively weak attack that doesn't do much damage.

Special Mechanics:

  • Spawn Reinforcements:
    • This works similarly to the vanilla mechanic made for Zombies. When attacked, each Snowman has a low chance to spawn another Snowman
  • Snow Trail
    • This is borrowed from Vanilla Snowmen. Any blocks they go across often gain a layer of snow on them
    • This is disabled with Mob Griefing off

 

 

 

Bosses:

The Great intelligence

Spawning:

  • (Method 1)The great intelligence would be summoned by a villager with a really odd eye color. You may find him using a control sphere as a sort of locating device (When near a village with him). Right clicking on him will put him into aggro-mode, spawning many MK1 and MK2 Yeti (with Web Guns)

  • (Method 2) You can craft his pyramid with control spheres that drop from Yeti. This pyramid is either used in hand or placed and used.  

Drops: Drops include credits (will think of something additional)

Attacks: WIP. I have to do a bit more research. I have ideas... But they aren't good enough just yet.

Spawned Minions: MK2 Yeti (with Web Guns) and MK1 Yeti

 Any other Information: I'm considering adding an additional "Snowman" variation of this fight. TBA later

 

Ice Governess

As Seen in: The Snowmen
Spawning:
 

  • Spawns randomly in snowy/icey biomes
  • Can be spawned artificially if a player cannot find one by pushing a Villager into icey water in an ice biome and covering over the villager with ice.

Drops: Drops will include Credits (I'll think of something additional)

Attacks: WIP

Spawns: Snowmen, very repeatedly and quickly

On Death: Snowman Minions within a certain radius die on spot 

 

 

I'm only realizing now, after reorganizing the post a bit, but I could use a few more details.

I'll do research to make this much more presentable than it is at the moment. Any suggestions you have, feel free to leave a comment

Very nice thread . something I would like is the ability to fly the Tardis "correctly"  in a episode of Dr who when river flies the Tardis she explains that the doctor always has the brakes on while flying and that's wg it has that wroooop wriooop dunn noise so I would like to have a mechanism where one can tur the wooorp noise off .
