Here's just a little suggestion, I hope no one posted something alike before. 

Username: MrPlush

Name of Block/item/ore: Lamp roundels ? Light roundels ? Something like that. 

Description: Basically, it'd be a classic roundel (in relief would be good) producing light. 

Lore/Brief Background (Or "As seen in" if not from Doctor Who canon): I think the War Doctor's roundels produce light, they look really bright. Here's the War Doctor's Console Room, to give an example: 

How do you suggest we implement it: Like any other block, I guess.

How does the player obtain it: I don't think there's a Crafting recipe for the roundels (I couldn't find one on the forum, though), but maybe it could be obtained with this recipe:

X R X         X= nothing

R P R         R= roundels

X R X         P= redstone powder

Why should this be implemented: Because it's cool ! And it'd be a good way to ligt up Console Rooms. 

Image(rough sketch/draft acceptable): Basically, a roundel with the central circle thing producing light.

Any other information: Nope, don't think so.

I really like this idea. For your example Tardis or even the Image section I would have put a picture of the "Classic" console that was used by 5th-7th. 

I give this idea my full support and hope it come's into existence. It would make roundels more logical and make building Tardises with the roundels far easier.
