Pocket dimensions [as well as rifts and vortex manipulator]

Making a Pocket Universe Transducer:
Construction- (not a crafting recipe, you place these) one clockwork block on the bottom, on that is transducer block with a diamond in it, on the four sides of that, iron bars, and one iron bar on top.
Transducer block:
Use- as the main ingredient in the Pocket universe transducer.
Fuel- 1 diamond
Crafting-
(Iron ingot, red-stone torch. Iron -Ingot.
Redstone. Redstone repeater. Redstone.
Iron ingot. Redstone comparator. Iron ingot)
 
Pocket universe transducer:
When you build this and right click on it, a GUI comes up. It will say 'Create pocket universe' and there will be a variety of options.
Landscape:
-sandy
-snowy
-rocky
-forest
-red sand
-default (same as standard Minecraft)
-Mixed (a mix of all the landscapes)
-randomise
Sky:
You will able to choose the colour of the sky, it will also have a randomise button.
Gravity:
This will allow you to toggle the gravity of the dimension
Miscellaneous:
A selection of miscellaneous things in the world which you can tick to activate.
-Volcanoes
-Glass Volcanoes
-smoke and fog
-lava lakes
-acidic water
-stars
-moon
-sun
-explosive sleep
-regenerative landscape
Structures:
This will toggle the naturally occurring structures in the world. Which you can tick
-Earth-like cities
-pyramids
-futuristic cities
-Gallifreyan cities
-crashed spaceships
-crashed Dalek saucers
-castles
-Trees
Name:
This gives the world a name
Mobs:
This will allow certain mobs to spawn on the world, however other mobs can also randomly but rarely come to the pocket universe such as Cybermen and Daleks. It will also have another feature.
Custom mobs:
This will allow you to create new, unique mobs in your world.
It will have a similar GUI to this
(Mob base: pick a mob to customise
Customisation options: change the whole colour of the mob, then you can go into an editor and edit it like a skin.
Health: pick the mobs health
Attack: choose how it attacks, range, hit or both. Its attack strengths. And its effects
Speed: decide its movement speed of, fast, normal, slow
Aggression: choose its aggressiveness and passiveness
Etc).
When you activate the device, you and the device, as well as everything in a 3x3 flat radius)
 
Externally Traveling to a Pocket Universe:
There are a few ways to get to a pocket universe.
-if you have already been to that pocket universe, you will get the ability to travel to it with a Tardis or Vortex Manipulator etc.
-travelling to it through a rift.
-taking the Tardis off safe mod will have a chance of accidentally traveling to a pocket universe.
-pocket universe scanner
 
Pocket universe scanner:
Use: right clicking opens up a GUI, it will have one option saying, random, which sends you to a random universe. And one saying travel, which allows you to search for a universe, but it must be specific.
Crafting:
(Iron ingot. Compass. Iron ingot.
Air. Iron ingot. Leather.
Air. Iron ingot. Leather.)
 
Rift:
The rift appears rarely, it can appear as white lightning constantly striking the same area for a time. Or it can appear as a source of bright light in a dark areas, or a point of darkness in light areas, or white particles. A rift will be uncommon and appear for around ten minutes. They cause mobs to appear slightly more frequently than normal, and when you walk into or through one you will be transported randomly to an area. It can be a new location, Different planet, or pocket universe. Rarely even a Tardis.
 
Tardis and vortex manipulator safe mode:
For a Tardis, safe mode is automatically on, but can be deactivated, when it is off the Tardis has a chance to fall into pocket universes but can dematerialise slightly faster. For a Vortex Manipulator it is the same but has different effects when turned off, instead, it will recharge faster and lose power more slowly.
 
Rift manipulator:
Crafting:
(Iron bar. Redstone torch. Iron bar.
Iron ingot. Ender pearl. Iron ingot.
Air. Coal. Air)
Use: right click to fire out a rift that lasts for ten seconds, shift clicking an open rift allows you to create an exact coordinate point for the rift to travel between

Maybe you could bold the headers or something? On the eyes, all the text seems to run together in one column (at least for me it does)

As for the idea itself, it seems interesting. It kind of reminds me of Mystcraft.

 

I imagine though it could lead to some lag on a server.  It's the main reason Tardises don't have their own separate dimensions.

 I see your point. And I will change the way it appears to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

I agree with Arcphoenix,    that this could potentially cause server lag,   but it would be amazing if they could find a way to execute the plan without eating up the servers performance,     

 

this sortof  reminded me of the dimensional doors mod,   where you could make your own pocket dimension or you'd find random  dimensional doors in the wilderness with dungeons inside.
