my bro is re-installing gmod and its slowing every function in my pc >:(

The installation is probably using up the CPU, what are your computer specs?

idk but its not even my pc he has a lynux (ew) and its slowing my computer :(

 Is the computer slower, or the internet? And if he has a separate computer, it shouldn't effect yours.

 That wouldn't make a difference. A computer run's independently, it would only make a difference if it was ONE computer, but if it's two, it won't make a difference. It's simply not how computers work. 

It means it's the internet that's slow.
