[Dalek Mod Suggestion] Tardis Telepathic Interface

Hey guys!

Today I have a suggestion that will once again, extend on the tardis part of the dalek mod.

                                                                                                                                                                       BRIEF

This suggestion came across to me when I started watching some of the early 12th doctor episodes again, I believe it was from the episode called "Listen" Where the doctor gets Clara to use the telepathic interface to go back to the early days of her timeline, But instead of going to her childhood, she went to Danny Pink's instead. Another time this is used in the episode is when Clara tries to get Danny, the doctor (who was injured at the time) out of where ever they were (Can't remember clearly, Think it was the end of the world or something) She enables like some sort of emergency flight and flies the tardis off to the doctors childhood when he was scared of the dark.

Name of Block/item/ore:  Telepathic circuits (or interface)

Description:   Allows you to fly the tardis telepathically (Link your inner mind, And use your thoughts, eg: you think of home, The tardis will then fly you to minecraftia and at the current timezone.)

EDIT: As MusketMusic has suggested, it could function for companions as like a command when they are near the block like /telepathic circuits-emergency flight [planet name] [Co-ords] <-- Optional or /telepathic circuits-destination [Planet name] [Co-ords] <-- that would be as a custom destination input. The player would then pull the throttle and of course go through the whole flight and then arrive at the destination set through the telepathic interface by companions or owner of the tardis.

I also had another thought for companions, If companions were able to use it, (players other than the owner of the tardis) would be able to perform like an emergency flight and land the tardis somewhere safe where there most likely won't be any mobs.

Lore/Brief Background (Or "As seen in" if not from Doctor Who canon): Doctor who Series 8: Listen.

How do you suggest we implement it: Pre-placed in the new Toyota // Neon Tardis that i'm pretty sure will be implemented in update 44 placed as the telepathic interface modeled block(ish) by Ford.

How does the player obtain it: As listed above, Either found on the console of the Toyota // Neon console OR obtained via creative, Crafting recipe is up to whatever John chooses.

Why should this be implemented: More use of Doctor who props // things that were seen in episodes.

Image(rough sketch/draft acceptable):  Image result for tardis telepathic interface

Any other information: This would be a cool little thing and shine a bit more light on people who are companions and give them more to do than ask "Where are we going doctor?" or "What is that? why is it saying exterminate?"  so yeah...

Hopefully you like my idea!

But how would the interface let you select the dimension you want to go to? If it lets you into a GUI, you might as well just use a tardis monitor!

And about that last section, pretty sure people won't really play on DMU if they don't know about daleks...

btw Don't call the 2013 console "Neon", just call it the 2013 toyota, the name isn't official. Not to mention Ford hates that name...

Well, the block itself, I can confirm will be in U44.

As for "flying with one's mind," might I ask how that could be put into Minecraft?

Could be you say the place in the chat and then the tardis registers it as a thought and takes you there.

Maybe something similar to the Handles system?

That was sort of my thought, gonna edit the thread.

This has my support! I'd love to see them in the game! ur genius!

You do have a point, how would this be different to Handles in the upcoming update or to the standard Tardis Monitor? It is though, a neat idea but it's just kinda useless when you have a monitor.

Cool, just had another idea, why not have it set so that only the companions and tardis owner are the only ones to see what's said for on servers that way it keeps the co-ords and planet of location to any hidden bases for factions or players hidden from people they don't want to know where it is because there's probably a reason why they have it hidden, most likely because they've been griefed a lot.

Let me know what you think Shadow.
