|Dalek Mod Suggestion| Sonic Module

As seen several times when  the Doctor regenerates, there should be a panel in which you can have a device build you a Sonic of many types. Lipstick, Wrench. Pen, Probe, Modulator and Screwdriver. Once you right click on the panel, you would be sent to a GUI that is similar to the Chameleon Circuit except with 3 Layers. Layers meaning how you can build the Screwdriver. Top Layer, Middle Layer, Bottom Layer. meaning you can combine different aspects of the Sonic, including Custom Parts to add to it. once you have everything set, click on the Next button and it'll take you to the Color Gui, you can then color your Sonic however you wish, after everything is set, click "Finish!" and your Sonic will begin to build, it will take 5 IRL minutes to build. once it is done, you will be notified in the chat "Your Sonic Device is ready!" just go back to your TARDIS, click on the panel again, and BOOM! You got yourself a new custom Sonic Device!

Also, depending on which type of Sonic you choose above, that is how it would work. Example: Sonic Lipstick can hypnotize Mobs into fighting for you.

Name of Block/item/ore: Sonic Creation Module

Description: Will create a Sonic Device based on the Custom Settings/Models you applied in the GUI.

Video of the Device: https://youtu.be/rE9B31ouOEg

How do you suggest we implement it: Make it available to people who own 3rd, 7th, War, 10th, 11th, and 12th Doctor's TARDIS. (Including Lego Dimensions)

Image of the Module:

How does the player obtain it: Either by building it or getting it from Creative. Crafting can be done either way John wants it to be.

Why should this be implemented: Gives the use of the Sonic more purpose, and makes people want to have one. you can craft this device instead of having to waste materials on a Screwdriver from the Show.

Any other information: I think it should also have a Flashlight Color option. giving you the option to make the Flashlight option of the Sonic to any color.

Where did I get this idea from? I played this Doctor Who game on ROBLOX that had this feature. I also got the idea from the show.

Any comments? leave them below! :D

Not the first time this has been suggested (Wodaman01 made a similar thread once), but this still gets my support either way

Probability of support: 102%

Probability of error in previous possibility: 2.00000000000000000000000000000001%

Sorry for reviving a semi-dead thread, but here are my two cents (circa 1938!) on this suggestion.

I do honestly like this! It's a cool idea, though IMO it would be nicer if it wasn't readily available in near-every canon interior (the specific module you included a photo for is only existent in the Toyota interior, and it hasn't even been there the whole time! And the only other canon interior with a similar module was the Copper.)

So, in a much less heavily worded way of saying it, I think it would be better off if it were something the user crafts and adds to their interior, I am a stickler for accuracy and (speaking as someone who is making many interiors and models/textures for the mod) I would prefer accuracy over convenience in the long term.

Second: "you can craft this device instead of having to waste materials on a Screwdriver from the Show."

This takes a bit of the appeal out of the picture to me. Sonics have materials "wasted" on them because it wouldn't be too fun otherwise. Having everything handed to you on a silver platter takes challenge out of the picture and therefore makes it easier for one to get bored whilst playing.

Perhaps have it so that the device needs to be charged using specific ores?

Or, better yet, it can become a "trade-in" station for Sonic Screwdrivers, so that if one gets bored with their current design, they can put it in the device and have another outputted.

And again, speaking as a relatively experienced modeler (2 years), you would not believe how annoying it would be to make as many models as it would take to be able to design your own sonics.

Here's a very short way of putting it:

Say that the Twelfth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver is a lot wider than the Ninth and Tenth Doctor's, any parts from either wouldn't fit together and therefore it may look out of place. Different sonics have different sizes.

Also, model work. Even with 4 different Sonic Screwdrivers, being able to switch out the Head, the Body, the Handle and the End-Cap that leaves you with 16 different models.

Also keep in mind with the model program I use (Techne, which is also used by a fair majority of the modeling community on here) you can't just copypaste parts from model to model.

You'd have to copy individual sizes, placements, etc until you're done. Also keep in mind that (this is me only, I don't know how long others spend) a Sonic Screwdriver takes from 30-50 minutes depending on detail. Times this by 16 for our example.

Again, I really like this suggestion! Just please do keep in mind how much work some parts may take!

I SUPPORT THIS!!!!

 obviously you support this, lol

Good thinking Sparks, interesting idea, kinda with Ford on this one, make it only to craft, and only there on certain console rooms, customs depends...

 Sounds good.

Which roblox game can you give me link ?

These quotes don't need to be this long. Just edit out the parts you don't need
