Wanted (level) for... (Suggestion)

I can't remember whether or not I have made a thread for these. I have terrible memory when it comes to what threads I've made. I think this may have been suggested before somewhere, can't be certain though (I did do a bit of a check, couldn't find anything). So here is my long thread about something I may or may not have suggested before.

I suggest adding wanted level. Killing certain species of mobs which can talk to you (e.g. Daleks, Cybermen, Timelords) increases the your wanted level for that particular species. Basically if a player where to kill a Dalek, then the Dalek wanted level for that player increases. This would have two consequences. The first being that members of that species are more likely not to speak to you and attack you on sight and the second being that if your wanted level is above the wanted level of something else that they usually attack (E.g Daleks usually attack Cybermen) then they would attack you first (e.g instead of attacking a Cyberman, the Dalek would attack you. However there are ways you can reverse these types of effect. If you kill enough of that species enemy then this will send your wanted levels into the negatives (E.g kill loads of Cybermen and your Dalek wanted level goes into the negatives). When your wanted level is high enough in the negatives, usually hostile mobs will begin to talk to you (see this thread: https://swdteam.com/forum?p=thread&tid=1990&page=1#). Here is an example of how this would work:

Usually Daleks would just kill you, even if you haven't killed one of them. But when your wanted level is -50 (kill around 50 Cybermen and No Daleks), then the Daleks would begin to become interested in becoming your ally (Because it could be beneficial to them). As an ally to the Daleks, they can give you Orgons and other servant creatures to help you fight their enemies (the Timelords, the Cybermen, Villagers and all other intelligent life hostile to them). It is at this stage you start doing missions for them, (not all the time, but sometimes), e.g going and infiltrating Cyberman Bases and Timelord Citadels (also killing other players with high Dalek wanted levels. Failing them or betraying them however, will add tons of Wanted points, making them Hostile once more. So if you side with the Daleks, stay useful!

Having a high Wanted level would lead to many things. Enemy ambushes, pursuits though space (and time in some cases) and possibly you will even being fear into their hearts (meaning they will be reluctant to attack you).

So, that is my (or maybe not my) idea. Please do tell me if have made a thread like this before or notify me if there are similar threads out there on this rather large forum. Oh, and also comment about this suggestion, that is important too, so do that.

I think this is a good idea, but i think that the daleks(or any other hostiles) choose to be your ally, then i think the hostile gives you a mission/purpose and when you have fulfiled it the hostile murders you(it would be alot more realistic as the daleks rearly make allies and if they do they exterminate them afterwords). Or maybe you cant make allies with certain hostiles.

Well, I've done a thread like this before; however, it was very different in some parts, and it was for something else.

The idea itself, could have potential, but could use refinements.

It's just my opinion on this, but, IMO, the game would get pretty boring if you got all species to be reluctant to attack you for killing a lot of them. Maybe there could be exceptions?

Additionally, everything Little Redstoner has said, I agree with

I definitely think this is an interesting idea, but I feel it's a little too in depth for Minecraft, which is a game of, essentially, attack on sight. Maybe it could be applied similar to a player's popularity at a village: if you attack too many villagers, the golems will attack you. If you attack certain neutral mobs enough times, like Ice Warriors or Time Lords, they will go from not caring about you to attacking you like a hostile mob.

And, I too agree with Little Redstoner.

Your suggestion is essentially what I originally wanted, but I thought having interaction with mobs would be cool. Maybe you can only interact with Timelords?

I like this suggestion, it is quite in depth. Just a tip, if you can't remember if you have created a thread on a certain topic before, go to your profile and click the 'Forum Threads' tab. This will show you a list of all your previously created threads!
