I have no Idea if this has been suggested before (probably has, everyone on the forums have already taken most of the Amazing ideas).
In many Doctor Who stories, the Doctor doesn't know where he is going to end up. I feel Dalek mod should also have this aspect. I suggest adding a button that when pressed, sets the Dimension and Cords to random values. This would allow Player go to random locations rather than predetermined cordinates, which I feel would make the mod alot more fun. This button could be a Block (which would add more controls for players to craft and use) or just a button in the monitor Gui.
Just mash your keyboard a few times, should do the trick ey? Also keep in mind that two of the dimensions on the server are banned, so this may be a bit of a problem.
Obviously there would be a few limitations such as not being able to go beyond the edge of the World and to restricted areas/dimensions. I'll add this to the thread later.

well, you can just hit the numbers. you need to click the arrow to go to another dimension
Good idea, but then again when i think about it yes you can hit random buttons on the keyboard(i do it all the time), but it would be alot easier to just hit a button so i support it
Much like what the Forth Doctor used once to evade the Black Guardian, and it brought him to Skaro.
I would like to see this added, especially if a lot more dimensions and reasons to go to them get added in the future.
I did a thread once on various controls which included a randomizer
Nonetheless, I do hope a randomizer gets added at some point. It would help make things a lot more adventurous, never knowing where you're going to land
Sooo, in the name of not wasting anymore space I renamed (and also resurrected) my Randomiser thread aso I can suggest a Fast return switch. Now I know this has been suggested before, but I had another small Idea about what it could do.
Name of Feature: Fast Return Switch
Description: A device that would allow the TARDIS to return to its previous Co-ordinates, but also when shift-clicked with a Sonic Screwdriver, would delete every exterior for that TARDIS and plant a new one in a random location in order to fix the bug where users can get stuck in the TARDIS.
Lore/Brief Background: In the episode the 'Edge of Destruction' the fast return switch malfunctions, trapping the Doctor and Co inside and sending them towards the beginning of time. Once the Doctor and Ian repair the switch, the TARDIS materialises at a random location. I took inspiration from this to perhaps be a way for players to avoid the 'Trapped inside the TARDIS' glitch.
How does this affect gameplay: It would allow players to travel to their previous location, escape the 'Trapped inside the TARDIS' glitch and also, sorta be a Randomiser.
Image(rough sketch/draft acceptable):
Any other information: Appeared in 'the Edge of Destruction' and also is used in the Audio: Neverland and a few other places.
