On December 8th it will be the 36^th anniversary of the assassination of John Lennon, an English music artist and a member of the infamous band The Beatles. I personally think that John Lennon was one of the greatest musicians of all time, and it is really sad what happened to him. Some of the songs that he wrote which you may be familiar with are 'Across the Universe' and 'Imagine'.

On this thread you can post any John Lennon songs, photographs, quotes, etc. 

I'm going to embed two videos, one is of one of my favorite John Lennon songs, called 'Instant Karma', and the other is a song a former band member, George Harrison, wrote as a tribute to John after he was shot, called 'All those years ago'.

 He wasn't really assassinated he was shot up-close and everyone knew who did it instantly

John Lennon is my favorite Beatle member. I loved his choice of his guitars (his Rickenbacker 325c64 mostly) and his song style.
