How does the new Rank system work?

We have recently replaced the old method obtaining ranks with a new much easier to use method. Before you would donate on the DMU page and then have to wait a long time for an admin to change your rank. This proved frustrating for many users. We've now made this process a lot easier.

To obtain a rank now you need to visit the SWDStore and select the rank you want:

After selecting the rank you want just click "Buy" or "Buy as gift" from the panel on the right hand side. This will process like a normal product purchase and will usually take a few minutes to complete. (If it does take any longer you can check the orders page or contact support@swdteam.com)

I've bought it, now what do I do?

Once the payment has processed visit your profile.

Once on your profile click on the inventory tab:

Next you need to locate the rank you just purchased and click on it. This will open the product information. From here you need to click on "Product Options".

You should see an option called "Change Rank". If you click on this your rank will automatically be updated. It will take up to one minute for the changes to apply in game.

What if I already bought a rank the old way?

We have added ranks to everyones accounts who previously bought them on the old system. If you are unsure whether you have a rank or not you can check your inventory on your profile.

Can I switch between ranks?

Yes. To switch between ranks just click on from your profile inventory and click change rank. As stated above this will take up to a minute to appear in game.

What about custom ranks?

If you want a custom rank you need to email us at support@swdteam.com or put a job up on Hire SWD.

If you already have a custom rank and it is not in your inventory please contact us and we will add it for you.

Can you keep useing the flight panel with the vip+ or do you have to switch back to beta to use it.

You still need a creative pass to join the creative server

how do i do this help me guys

 You go to the SWD Store and select a rank that you wish to purchase. Then, after  purchasing it, you go to your profile, and click inventory. The rank you just purchased will be there. You then click on it, and select 'Change Rank'. After a short period of time (log out then in again) in game your rank will update.

Will custom ranks be added to the store or will it still be through HireSWD?

can you use creative on the public server with vip+?

 No, that is still against EULA. Which states that people can't pay for unfair advantages. Servers can only sell cosmetics. People who got SWDBae can keep creative though.

 Getting creative is impossible to get unless you are given certain rank by another staff member but this is very rare so I wouldn't get your hopes up or pester staff.
