[WIP] [Dalek Mod Suggestion] The Flesh [Mob, Block, Utility]

Presuggestion: So I saw Rebel Flesh recently, really interesting episode. I'm surprised no one has actually done a suggestion on it. I thought to myself, it would be pretty cool if a system could be made of the feature. Something not too op, something that will have a cost to use. I'll take a shot. If anyone has any ideas or criticism, suggestions or questions, just let me know below.

 

The suggestion will cover 3 things: A utility piloted ganger, the parts required to make a ganger, and the situation of a rogue ganger. I'm still working out parts of the suggestion, so I'll just start with the rogue ganger.

 


 

 

Rogue Ganger

Mob: Rogue Ganger

As seen in: Rebel Flesh/Almost People (to be abbreviated as RFAP for the rest of this thread)

 

Lore: In RFAP, it is revealed that humankind has been using bodies created from some form of programmable matter. They were treated as disposable, each operated by a human from a harness. The "Gangers" as they were called were lifelike duplicates of the operators controlling them. They were easily produced, and disposed with just as easily. If one was destroyed, it could be replaced. When shocked, they could become sentient. They would have the memories and personalities of their operators. In cases, there has been conflict, with operator and ganger unable to believe they could coexist. Some gangers remembered how they were used, were angry about it, and took action. The Doctor was able to solve problems, but if you're using The Flesh, it's your fault here.

 

Behavioural Type: Passive

Spawning: When an operated Ganger is struck by lightning, it will turn rogue, retaining any armor, weapons, and drops it was carrying upon being struck.

Attack Style: Melee (By default, but it depends on what the Ganger is carrying)

Anger Triggers: Using Flesh at any point marks a player, and the more a player uses, the worse they are marked. Flesh will attack marked players

Weaknessess: A Sonic Screwdriver will kill an unarmored Ganger

Drops:

  • Flesh
  • Anything the Ganger was carrying

 

Operated Ganger

Creation: Created from a ganger creation box using some material yet to be determined

Usage: the Ganger will spawn after a player activates a Flesh Creation machine and gets into a harness. The Ganger will be controlled just like the player's own character. There will be a button for decomissioning the Ganger to return to one's own body.

Notes: Gangers can collect material, fight mobs, and do many other things, but they cannot gain experience points. Likewise, they cannot gain credits from killing mobs. This is largely for balancing purposes 

 

Harness

Used for operating gangers. The full details will be added at a later time

 

Flesh

Material Gangers are created from. The full details will be added at a later time

 

Ganger Maker

This machine uses Flesh to create Gangers. The full details will be added at a later time.
