DMU Public World Reset

The world INCLUDING all other dimensions INCLUDING the TARDIS dimension ( which includes interiors) will be reset during late December and early Janurary. This means the entire map will be reset to allow for a new start for players with reduced lag.

All user inventories will be cleared, however, this reset also does not affect ranks in any way.

This world reset will hopefully reduce alot of lag and allow everyone to start anew.

Reasons for Reset

The reason for the reset is to start again, because after a while, playing on the same world becomes boring.

Another reason is to erase all of the unused TARDIS' and to eliminate corrupted chunks which are very laggy.

This will allow for you to have a clean start 

Saving Builds

If you would like a build saved, please contact support@swdteam.com via email, and ask them politely if they can save a few chunks of your personal builds.

Please allow for up to 48 hours, as they don't keep refreshing their inbox 24/7 

In the email please detail the coordinates of the build so staff may retrieve it for you.

Do note that the old world will be available for one month so everyone should have sufficient time  to save their builds.

After this time is up, you can no longer get your builds back

Server Downtime

The server will be down for maintenance for about one to two weeks. We require this time as we also plan for a number of big changes that will improve the server. Some examples are a new, more fair currency system, a new Spawn, server shop.

The server will appear to be open, however this is only for staff members as we will be working on the server.

We will keep you updated on any changes and will inform everyone when the server will be reopened in the coming weeks.

Thank you for you patience, we hope everyone understands that this world reset will hopefully reduce lag by a huge amount and allow you all to start fresh.

Is there a set time that schematics need to be saved from the old world before the back up server is made?

I like this, a fresh start is nice although the original world has been the same for around a year now and has many amazing structures that will sadly be destoryed. Even though, i'm excited to see how the new world will form

Just so you guys know, the world file is about 100GB.

My computer would literally run out of space if I tried downloading it xD

If you guys want, I can save the entire old world file for you guys, as like a memoir or something. I have an extra 100GB of space, no worries :P

 John can easy safe it he got the server files so he can copy the public world somewhere and then he still got the world.

 I'm pretty sure it'll kill your PC when you open it, considering many chunks are corrupted and the whole world is laggy.

Welp, now i will have stuff to do on the server as the server became kind of boring couse you alrady saw everything, i like this idea.

I am really happy that people arent raging :D
Some other staff and I were worried about the negative backlash towards this but it's really nice to see the opposite.

A Fresh Start.... I like It!!!! of course me and the Rest of the THC will have to make a new Secret Base, But that's fine. it needed a remodel anyway.

Are you aloud to have a save request for a TARDIS Interior?

 Yes you can have your interior saved.

Will we get a note back from support@swdteam.com to say it is saved?

 Yes, you will be sent either the region files or a schematic depending on how big it is.

 How long should it take? and will we have to post the ID

 The entire TARDIS dimension will be reset, all interiors will be gone. But you can contact staff to save yours if you have the interior coordinates or (I'm unsure about this) the TARDIS ID.
