I noticed that no one has made a Star Wars thread…

This thread will be for the discussion of any and all topics about the Star Wars universe, including movies, TV shows, books, and the EU (Legends).

Feel free to discuss anything: R2D2, Episode VIII, Rebels, the Dark Saber, your favorite ‘Who is Snoke?’ theory, Rogue One, Darth Plaguis, Darth Malak, Chewbacca, what color light saber you would have, your favorite Jedi/Sith, etc.

To start off the discussion, what did everyone think of Rogue One?

I thought the movie was very good, and provided an excellent back story to A New Hope. I liked the actors, the storyline, and, of course, Darth Vader. It was simply a great movie, in my opinion.

I also want to say that I will very much miss Carrie Fisher.

I want a purple lightsaber because it's cool. Blue is kind of boring because it's common. Green is ok. Only Mace Windu has a purple lightsaber. That's why I want one.

I just wanna say my favourite Stormtrooper is the Shoretrooper XD

Same here, I would want a more uncommon color, perhaps even white. Mace Windu's purple lightsaber made him look even more awesome.

I never really had a favorite Stormtrooper myself, but I rather liked the Death Troopers from Rogue One, in a dark sort of way. The Shoretroopers looked rather cool though.

Rogue One was good in my opinion, but I think the pace was a bit too quick and there was little character development. But again, that's what you get when you only produce a one-off film with a short story.

My favorite saber color is green because people with green saber are people with peace. My favorite jedi is master Yoda idk if you notiched xD.

dose anybody else like T3-M4 from star wars the old republic 1 and 2? he is my favorite star wars character (other than yoda)

fun fact!  according to the books lightsabers come in ALL colors.

they're colored by using a certain crystal while making them,  

• blue is most common,  
• green is a tad bit more rare,    
• purple is super rare,
•  yellow, orange magenta ect. are pretty much impossible to find.
• the red crystals used by the Sith are not found naturally and are synthesized in a lab
