Hello everyone!
As some of you know, I am really rich. Stacks upon stacks of credits. To symbolise that I am NOT greedy, I will host a contest! 3 lucky winners will receive a lot of credits, with which they can hopefully get closer to owning a brand new TARDIS! The 3 winners will receive:
1st Place: 15 Stacks of Credits (960!)
2nd Place: 10 Stacks of Credits (640!)
3rd Place: 5 Stacks of Credits: (320!)
To all other contestants, who have not won, I will donate 10 Golden ingots!

Y IS ASKIN FO MI EMAEL ADRES I NO LIEK BOOOO
It does seem a little weird and ridiculous you need the player's email address....
It does seem useful... Since TARDISes cost a ridiculous amount. But as War_Major said, Why do you need the email?
It does seem a little weird and ridiculous you need the player's email address....
i thinks its so he can tell you that you have won and where to meet him
I recommend either removing the need for an email or not entering because it really isn't
smart to give it out since someone could easily set it up with spam/scammy stuff.
*UPDATE*
E-Mail Requirement is now removed!
Happy applying
Where / how did you get all the credits?
That was my question, the staff survival group has just barely this many and we are a big group.
Not to beat a dead horse but I would like to know as well prior to this contest continuing.
And, since the server reset like three days ago, I don't know how you'd gotten that much.
While this is a nice thing to do, I question the legitimacy of these credits.
It's only been less than a week since the server reset.
How were you able to obtain these credits?
It funny really. Nobody has thought, "Hm, what if I go out of my way, to go north south east and west for about 30 minutes and kill every animals in sight" The answer is that you get stacks upon stacks of credits. Since I also found out that somehow, even with mob spawning turned off, passive mobs would spawn in uncreated chunks, I went really far away from the wilderness, for me to create new chunks where animals would spawn. If I killed them, they would never be able to respawn. Since mob spawning is back on, I find it even easier to get credits. (A Sharpness 5 Brass Sword helps with the hostiles) Maybe the increase of the tardis price was good after all? :)
I hope this cleared things up!

Thanks for the explanation.
The credit drop from mobs is a known to be an overpowered system.
However, the staff team don't fully agree on how much you plan to give out.
Say you won first place, you already have 15/16 stacks needed for a Tardis.
In a way it can affect the survival aspect of the server, as players don't have a big need to survive.
Items like Tardises are meant to be a commodity and not something easily obtained, hence the increased price.
Not saying your idea is bad, but we think you should decrease the prize. We would suggest having:
1st prize: 320 credits
2nd: 192 credits
3rd: 128 credits
We don't want to offend you in anyway, we just think this contest can potentially affect balanced gameplay.
The above figures are ones we merely suggest.
WatchBOT I like the idea of this but maybe not make it a contest i know lots of poor people on the server just give them a stack each maybe but its just a suggestion

Alright, I will decrease the prizes, but consider this: Me having about 30 stacks of credits does not affect balanced gameplay, but me giving out 25 of those stacks to other players with the sole intention to balance gameplay so that newer players and/or people with little to no money having a bit more money isn't good, doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
