NOTE: This post is now merged with ArcPhoenix's checklist. Please see this post for the future. https://swdteam.com//forum?p=thread&tid=883
As a follow-up post to ArchPhoenix's checklist when posting suggestions, this will a series of post formatting threads,to teach users how to post detailed and well formatted suggestions. (Format based on IkingSGC Forums)
This is here as currently there are many posts that are hard to read, either being one word suggestions or just a very long list of Doctor Who episodes/characters/props.
These suggestion formats are unoriginal and hard for the SWD Team to understand, so they might not add it as they can't understand what a user is trying to post.
Please consider checking out ArchPhoenix's Suggestions checklist, they will also help a lot.
I've written other "How To" threads such as the crash-reports format, bug reports format and a server unbanning report format.

How to Insert Images (By ArcPhoenix and Reddash16)
As ArcPhoenic states:
As for inserting an image here's what you do.
Original quote by Reddash16:
Hey :), you're images are embedded wrong. When you're posting an image from imgur please remember to include the file extension at the end (eg. ".png", ".jpg") etc.
Updated:
Added ArcPhoenix's method of inserting images into posts, as many don't know how to do this (including myself)
Imo, instead of saying Origin should be blank, I feel it should probably be interchangeable with "Lore/Brief Background"
For mobs
And for anything

I'd add this bit of information under the "How to insert an image" part
Thanks to those who are using this format, it makes it very easy to understand and hopefully it has made your suggestions easier to format.
I'm going to bump this post, I think more people should see this post and hopefully use it. As this post isn't pinned many people don't see it when it's near the bottom of the second page of threads. I am hoping that my [How-To] threads (links to other posts at top of this page) could all be pinned in their respective forum sections if that's not too much of a hassle. More people are using a format and specifically this one so I hope more community members can learn to write clear concise suggestions.
In other forums like IKingSGC Forums( I don't intend to cause conflict) any bug reports and suggestions have a mandatory format or the portly written thread is locked and deleted. There are still people who have poorly written suggestions/bug reports etc. so if SWD could be a bit more strict in forum posting many good ideas can be expressed more clearly.

Honestly, I hope that doesn't happen. It's why I've been over here most of the time lately.
iKingsSGC forums can be REALLY strict sometimes.
I like it here because I feel more free with my suggestions and whatnot. Idk. And if your thread isn't formatted well, someone can always tell you to format so you can fix your own mistake
If you've ever noticed, I'm not always THAT consistent whenever I make a post. I bend formats, make my own section headings, sometimes don't include some of the ones I feel are unneccesary, and whatnot. I still keep organized and detailed, but they aren't all in one kind of uniform, you know?
I feel this should really just be a reccomended format vs a required one
(For the situation over at the IKing's) Ah I see.
I do have a kind of strict-personality about having well structured posts but yes I do agree that SWD has a less restrictive approach to formatting, they make spelling mistakes etc. all the time. I did post too quickly, I was agitated by the number of users having a blunt list of one word Doctor Who props being suggested. There are after all, ALOT of users of SWDForums so I am wrong in that aspect, I just felt that users should try to edit their suggestions etc. so they are easier to read.
A recommended format is good, users just need to be aware of how they write their suggestions after they post their ideas up.
Sometimes i can't help it i have Dyslexia (not that you knew that just thought i'd say) after all. We don't really triple check everything we write because we're quite busy a lot of the time, heh.
This was hard for me to find so. BUMP UP.

Bumped. Imo this post should REALLY be pinned
