I have had an Idea

about how to make a customisable tardis  without having to do much

the idea is when the player places the tardis a GUI would appear asking them which exterior they would like

Next it would ask them which interior they want to use

there would also be a button under the interior selector button which would say Custom interior if selected the player would select the interior they want to base there console room off then select the blocks they want to use for the walls and floor they would then be asked to design  the console it's self

to design the console they would be placed in the interior and then they would build there console then when complete they would be spawned back outside of there tardis and then they are done

Well good suggestions are detailed, so that's what makes them fun to read!

 At the moment that's all the details I have figured out yall need to wait unit I figure the rest out

Idea. If "custom interior" is selected, the tardis only asks that type of doors and the floor, them spawns said doors and a 3x3 area of said block and lets the player do as they wish.

 Well, sections 9(Stuff about Starter Rooms), 4 (Generating platforms when changing the Tardis Door Position), and 13 (Time Vector Generator and Choosing interiors). Those are the sections I'm referring to.

They may sound a bit irrelevant at first, but I do see a number of similar points, if not purposes

 My idea for custom interiors allows the player to build the console room while in creative then they would press a button that would put them back outside there Tardis then they can open the tardis and enter it
