Bigger and Better Spawn [DMU Public]

Username: brickkid

Feature: New Spawn

Description: I was thinking a lot about the server and although I love it, I cannot deny that there are problems with it as there are with every server. I may post many different suggestions to make the server even better, but here is my second suggestion. Why not have a better spawn?

Whoever created the spawn I am not saying it is bad. I am saying that it doesn't feel like a Doctor Who like world. I have a plan that could be great for a spawn.

Design

This is my idea. I was thinking that since it is a Doctor Who based mod and server, it should be a Gallifreyan like city. This way it will become more organized and perhaps less people will put there TARDIS everywhere since spawn is so beautiful. We had a few good looks at Gallifrey in a few episodes, so if we watch those we may be able to replicate the design. This may be a big project, but I am sure that if we get enough builders, it will look amazing.

Organisation

Now, I want to make a suggestion about organizing spawn. People build their homes at spawn, right? Why not make even a better home with a Gallifreyan looking home. The exterior may look a bit like the rest, but you can decorate the inside however you want. You can purchase blocks to remodel your house with credits (like a few have suggested) and find some more blocks on other worlds.

Now on to another idea. Why not make an apartment building where people can store their TARDIS? Not a parking lot, but a place for the TARDIS to live. The door can be the TARDIS door. This way no one living in the TARDIS will feel left out.

Shop design

Here is an idea for the shop. It should be attached and on the north of the main spawn building. Each version of the TARDIS should be on display like in the show. I was thinking it should look more like a mall. People could even sell their stuff there if they purchase a room.

Conclusion and Summary

Basically what I am asking is to make spawn a city where people will live. It pretty much is already a place where people live. Why not make it even better? You may be thinking that this will cause a problem since players' homes will be destroyed at spawn. Why not keep the items in the area, but change the exterior? that way none of their items will be destroyed. Anyone else down for this idea? I could even make a model and make a snapshot of the design I was thinking of.

Purpose: To make the server more appealing and inviting to players. Also, to make it more organised.

How to implement: It is quite simple.  All you need is a few people to brainstorm what it will look like, and builders.

Work with this please

I see no problem with how I have formatted it myself, but I shall format it the way you have said if it makes it look nicer.

Thank you, I will also make sure I format my post correctly next time. I didn't read your post about the format until you mentioned it.
