Is there any way to open the TARDIS dimension in MCEdit?

I'm building a giant interior for my niece to play on in an adventure series, but adding schematics one by one with WorldEdit is either too tedious, or crashes the game. I can find the Level.dat for the overworld, but nothing for the TARDIS.

I haven't used MCEdit in a long time, but I think if you're in the TARDIS Dimension, MCE will move to your position and be in the dimension.

 I tried doing that, and MCEdit loaded up in a random spot in the Overworld.. and the only dimensions it allows me to switch to is Overworld, Skaro (doesn't actually load) and the Nether.
