DidleyBob's Tardis Interiors

Browsing online, searching for fan art of custom TARDIS interiors, I came across a mix between a Victorian/Steampunk style TARDIS.  The following images include the TARDIS interior and the original fan art that I based it off of.  Constructive criticism would be nice in regards as to what I could have did better and anything else that you feel needs to be said. Thank you.

Original Fan Art:

While it's quite good as is, I think it would looks better (and be more accurate to the original fan art) if the room were rounder.

You should make it lighter(use the Transparent light blocks) bt other than that good job! wink

Please just use "edit post" in the future. An extra comment to correct a typo just takes space

Super cool! At one point ,a long time ago on the Private server, I wanted to create a TARDIS interior based on this exact image, but never got round to it. Maybe work on the ceiling details a bit.

I think it looks really good! You should start to build more TARDIS's.

it looks rather empty. but a few blocks here and there would be great!

Having wanted a custom T.A.R.D.I.S. interior that creates a sense of contentment while also being somewhat unique and original, I set to work building the HPNL interior.  HPNL stands for Hotel Pool Night Lighting, which is the lighting style used as well as the mood that the lighting invokes: of sitting by the pool at night listening to the sound of water touching your feet while all is still and peaceful.   Hope you enjoy my designs and if you have any constructive criticism to offer it would be much appreciated.

1. Main overview: allows you to get the full scale and depth of the interior.  Biggest example (pun intended) of the HPNL mood creation.

2. Holographic Moniter: allows you to see the location you wish to go, the location you are currently on, and/or anything you wish.  In this case it is projecting Earth, which allows you to see what is happening any where and/or anytime.  This is by far my favorite feature.

3.  Controls: Main controls have been placed around the HM, with the placement differing from most central interiors.

4. Close-up: Close up of the intricacies of the architecture.

5. Interior Hallway leading to and away from door

6. No explanation needed I would hope.

~Thank you for your time and consideration.

Please don't post irrelevant nonsense on threads.

Just because you have an idubbbz profile picture doesn't mean you have to go around the forums acting like it.

I greatly like the design and i am filled with awe (IT MAKES ME FELL LIKE A BAD BUILDER :( ) but otherwise i love the looks.

Presenting: DidleyBob's "Home Away From Home" Control Room

Partially inspired by pages 20/21 of the official Minecraft Construction Handbook and by pure, unadulterated imagination, the "Home Away From Home" is perfect for the traveler who gets homesick easily.  Combining aspects of both a cabin in the woods and dreamy forest escape, this console room creates feeling of contentment and eases the mind and soul of the weary adventurer.

Below are just a few of the pictures that are only just able to capture that "Home Away From Home" feel.  Enjoy!

Presenting: DidleyBob's "Gyroscope" Control Room

Having always found gyroscopes fascinating, I thought of how cool it would be if a TARDIS was a gyroscope (on the inside).  If it used a gyroscope, the TARDIS could remain stable during flight (beyond what it can do now and even against a barrage of enemy attacks).  During flight, the rotor or the shell could spin to keep the TARDIS and its occupants safe.  Besides its uses, I just thought that a gyroscope interior would look pretty neat (i.e. form before function).  Let me know what you think and any suggestions or ideas are much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
