What?! Really!? It's ready?!

Kind of... We've now fully updated our server side mods (SWDEss etc) and are now getting the 1.12.2 servers ready! We estimate that the first 1.12.2 server will be up in a few days (max) and will probably be the beta server. Why the beta server? This is because we've managed to update a portion of the map from 1.8 to 1.12.2 meaning we don't need to rebuild everything. The public map on the other hand has to go. It is far too big to update. So yes, this does mean a reset.

Will I lose all my stuff?

Yes. But so will everyone else, so it will be fair on all players.

What about items I bought on the DMU Store?

As with every reset all items which have been credited to users or bought on the DMU store will be credited back to you

Will I lose my rank?

No. You bought the rank. The only way you can lose it is if you abuse it.

Can you save my Tardis?!!!

No. The period for builds to be saved is over. If you want to save your build then all we suggest you do is download a schematic mod and create a schematic of it.

Does this mean Update 47 is ready?

Almost. We're just finishing stuff up at the moment. We have a small list of things left to code and fix.

 Does this include maps other than overworld?

I don't think everything will be saved, last time I heard is that John only wanted to save the the parts like spawn and things that are there from the beginning.

 Dutch you misread the quote, he was referring to Beta, not Public.

If you can't get on it then that means it is down at the moment. I think we are looking at getting that one updated first alongside the DMU Private server

Question: So is anything on the private server erased?? I know I haven't been on for a while, but I can come on more now.

We will only be keeping what is at and around spawn. Everything else will be deleted. I will however be making a local backup of the map though before we do go through with deleting it

 Yay for a moment i was worried that a whole new theme was going to happen at the spawn so i couldn't build my new cities.

Is there a specific date for the final touches on the server?

Going off past resets (correct me if I'm wrong), the file has always been too big. Procedure has been giving the coordinates and the staff schematicing the location for the user.

Arc is correct, the world file is far to large to put up for download.

Yeah if you PM the coords I can send you the region files which you should be able to load into a blank world

 What are PM coordinates? Also, if the world is not reset yet, then I was going to write down the dimensions of it, and redesign a few things.
