Welp, this is a small and simple but still highly irritating feature (at least for me). IDK why did you even think that it will be a good idea in the first place, but anyways. I am a maniac of design and stuff, so I get frickin' mad whenever I try to redecorate (sometimes even build anew) the interior and suddenly all my work just gets denied. Is there a way to disable it? Perhaps a config or something (I think I dug up everything, but I may just be missing something obvious, you never know)? i'm ready to switch to lite if it is off there. Ples halp

 Yeah.. This is a feature of 1.7.10 and 1.6.4 (pretty much any non-1.8 version). I hope it gets fixed sometime, but for you, my advice is don't break diamond blocks
