As Regeneration has been removed from U48, I've had an idea for the Regeneration for when it is added.
Pre Regeneration:
Once you run out of hearts, you'd start to glow and everything but you can press a key on the keyboard to stop the Regeneration and you can hold it off. The more you hold it off the bigger the regeneration (which seems to be what happens in the show) and the more explosive.
The Regeneration:
If it's explosive its best to go to the TARDIS or it'll leave a massive impact on the world you're on. The TARDIS will go into crashing too, and be similar to EOT, TEH and TUAT.
If you manage to gain another Regen Cycle it'd be similar to Time of the Doctor with the reset and the option to change (as you'd technically be healed), you can cheat changing on a Regeneration with the Hand in the Jar but only works once per Jar.
Post Regeneration:
Sometimes after a Regeneration the TARDIS may explode and try chuck you (like seen in TUAT)
Once you change only the face of your new skin will change (so you still have the same outfit) and there can be an option to fully change the to skin or a new block which does it (more further below)
Every so often for the first 30 mins of your new body you'd get a random effect such as Hunger or Nausea.
The TARDIS may not go to your desired destination for a bit during the first 5 minutes of your Regeneration and if you try forcing it, it may go hay wire.
The "clothes block":
The clothes block lets you choose an outfit from an archive of skins and you can add your own. It can be crafted or found in TARDIS' or a shop.
A shop would be found in villages where there'd be Dummy's in the Window and can come alive if there were a Nestine were to be nearby.
(If the Nestine stuff were to get added)

I love this idea. But the clothes don’t really count as regeneration but that’s a good idea to. Same with the shop, good idea, wrong thread. But overall amazing idea!

I personally love this idea but it may not even be possible to code something like this, but who knows, right?

i don't think changing your avatar's skin and just the head at that would be possible, if you want the skin to change it'd have to be different.
