[Dalek mod Suggestion Compilation] Improvements to the Tardis- Part 1/Unknown: Admin Tools [Management/Items/Commands]

Tardis Suggestions Series: Part 1- Admin Tools

Admin Tools

Feature: Commands/Items for a server owner for better management of his or her server

Admin Tool 1: Stattenheim Remote Control

As seen in: The Mark of the Rani and The Two Doctors

Function: Summons Tardises of any player

Purpose: Dealing with misbehaving server players

 Operation: /Stattenheim 's TARDIS

Admin Tool 2: Tardis Skeleton Key

As seen in: The Deadly Assassin

Function: Opens any Tardis in game

Purpose: Dealing with misbehaving Server Players

Operation: /create tardisSkeletonKey <oneUse/permanent>

Other commands:

/destroy tardisSkeletonKey <all/?>

/skeletonKeyAllowUse <Owner/PlayerName/Moderators/None> <True/False>

Admin Tool 3: Crown of Rassilon

As seen in: The Deadly Assasin (The Object itself) and Trial of  a Timelord: A Deadly Foe (The Mechanics)

Feature: The Crown of Rassilon

Description: This crown allows access to The Matrix (not the movie, sorry). The Matrix is the collection of all Timelord knowledge. Everything a Timelord Experiences, and apparently events occuring around a Tardis, are recorded within the Matrix.

In the Mod, it will allow an Admin to view things from the eyes of a player (including viewing his or her inventory). Alternately they may view things from the perspective of any Tardis and also see the inside. Additionally, the admin may "unlock" from the perspective of said player of Tardis and fly around in spectator mode to view things around.

Use:

Clicking the Use button will open a list of players as well as an "Unowned Tardises" button. Clicking on a player will open another list. The player will be at the top followed by all the tardises linked to him or her in order of last used or last linked to earliest used or earliest linked. Clicking on any will pull up another selection menu allowing the Crown user to view permissions, coordinates (Tardis), door position (Tardis), coordinates (player) and companions. Also, the crown user may choose to "view from perspective" or "view interior" (if a Tardis was chosen).

Purpose: Server Management

Restrictions: Server owner and anyone on a special whitelist may use it

 Admin Tool 4: Rassilon's Gauntlet

As seen in: Hell Bent

Effect: Kills a player on the spot on which he or  she stands and causes him or her to drop all of his or her items.

Any other Information:

  • Keep Inventory has no effect on this
  • It's also a command, if that's more of your style

Use: Making sure players aren't thieving or carrying anything they aren't supposed to have

Admin Tool 5: Tardis Interior and Exterior Coordinates Locating command

Suggested by: Derpinator4578

Feature: A command that allows admins to see the exterior and interior coordinates for any player's Tardis

Command:  "/tardis-interior-locate-list (player's name goes here)"

Any other Information: See Derpinator4758's suggestion here (link)

Admins can already enter any tardis they feel like at any given time. ATM the "skeleton key" ,while not a bad idea, is pointless.

As staff, we can already gain access to any Tardis on the server, however, being able to summon one isn't something we can do (unless that's a command too, I'm not certain) so I support something along the lines of a remote control, whether it be an item or a command. Rassilon's Gauntlet is also in question due to the fact that we can use /invsee to place and remove items from other people's inventories. The Crown of Rassilon sounds like a nifty idea to me as well, being able to view all sorts of information, though the crown itself would have to not be accessible by the creative menu (like a certain box and sword we know...) so I support this idea as well as the remote control.
