As we all know in survival you yourself are required to craft your own tardis and whilst this hard and warrents the reward that is an OP travel box i think gathering the materials to upgrade it using zetion crystals which i believe still currently have no use.

the second you craft your tardis and put it down it would have a small fuel supply and would need to be landed to restore said charge for a certain ammount of time and the ability of flight through the overworld / dimension on it's own should be disabled until the user gets a tardis upgrade kit that grants them tier 2 which is able to both fly , speeds up the process and allows the tardis to create a weak force field, a tier 3 would unlock the ability to fly to galifray and more hostile worlds and space station stuff like trenzalore , planet of the spiders , the moon with it's spider things the home of the slitheen as well as other more dangerous planets. as well as creating a better forcefield that can withstand more things such as dalek fire.

Crafting this with the use of A lot of Redstone and Iron would allow you to create a randomly Generated sonic device for the hefty and costly price of 3 or more Diamonds / Emeralds and would have limited time use before it blew up and you had to make a new one.

Partially got my support. I don't like the idea of the sonic creation device because if it will randomly select a certain sonic then the player gets no say as to what sonic they get. How it is now, means that the player can choose which sonic to make and therefore what sonic they want. With the Tardis one, I like the main idea but what would happen to the Tardis when it's shot at while it can't absorb the Dalek fire with a forcefield? What sort of materials would be used for the upgrades and what would the crafting formation look like?

The Idea with the tardis is that you start out with a rusty peice of junk and progress to the OP tardis the mod is currently using , you won't be able to craft these upgrade kits but obtain them from either minecraft dungeons or speical mob drops as if you could simply craft them after killing a few daleks it'd be too easy.

after the shield goes down and the tardis takes a pounding it will either enter emergancy landing mode where it either A ) switches to the next interior and cycles through 

( like in matt smith's first episode the eleventh hour )

Or it goes into damaged state where it takes a while to materalise and your limited to a few destinations before waiting for the tardis to repair it's self

Another Better idea would be to have the tardis leave with or without you inside of it and land in a random destination not being able to be summoned until enough time has passed, perhaps the key will glow with the echantment aura for 60 seconds to signal this or you will get a message in minecraft chat.

As for the sonic creation device ~ 1 redstone block in the center , 4 iron ingots in the corners and 3 redstone circuits followed by one zetion crystal in the at the top. ( i believe that adds up )

 You could make the crafting recipe for the upgrade really expensive so you don't have to just kill a few Daleks but a lot. For example; it takes a lot to craft the Tardis.
