[Dalek Mod Suggestion] One World [New Alternate World Generation type]

Name Of World Gen Type: Time-Space Flux

 

Feature: A new World Gen type (like Default, Superflat, and Amplified) that crosses the Dalek Mod world types over into one Dimension

 

As Seen in and Sources of Inspiration: Lego Dimensions Doctor Who World, Perhaps Mario Galaxy, older versions of the Dalek Mod (where Skaro and Gallifrey were Biomes), the glitch from the vanilla Sky Dimension which was never implemented (the glitch caused chunks of the Sky Dimension to generate in the Overworld), and stuff I thought up.

 

Description of World Gen type: Rather than all the worlds being separate, this world type brings them all together. In short, as the player walks about the overworld, randomly, huge portions of other dimensions will generate from time to time in place of the overworld.

 

Purpose of Feature: To add in a REALLY unique alternative to the usual world type

 

How do you suggest we implement this: If you can, every now and then as the player walks in a certain region, have the code swap to grab the world gen code from other dimensions and load it in place of overworld stuff (But not like biomes. Actual pieces of other dimensions generating instead.)

Also if you can, make it so that the respective mobs spawn in their proper places

I love your ideas, but i'm not too fond of this one. Seems a bit like the dimensions fusing. I suggest "rifts" that could spawn and take you to a random dimension or puts you on another point in the same dimension. Just my feedback, if you can make up a reason that players go into these rifts that might help this a lot.

 I like that idea, although I think I'll make it as a separate suggestion for the Default World gen.
