I've been considering Beta for a while.
Is it worth it, and what are the perks exactly?
I know there's access to all the other SWD products, but tbh I'm only really interested in the Dalek mod and the Dalek Mod Workshop (whenever that's available to Beta testers).
Well, as you might guess my opinion will be a little biased. So i'll just list the things you get with beta (and leave my opinion in these lovely little brackets).
-Access to DMU Private
-A new shiny beta button on the navigation bar
-Access to pretty much every beta version of anything we make ever. (We normally have lots of test builds for things)
-You get to test DM features very early and (i am sure you'll have lots of feedback and suggestions for us :) That seems to be your thing xD)
-Your site rank is changed to "Beta Tester"
-A possibility of an exclusive profile theme (when we make it)
-You'll help support the DM like I've said, personally Minecraft modding is like eating broken glass, but we will smile as we know someone was kind enough to give real money to our glass eating contest :) (Okay, maybe a bit of exaggeration, i do enjoy Minecraft modding sometimes)
(Side note: Most likely DMWorkshop will be available in an earlier (yet usable) state on beta access first).
wow access to all of that that is amazing
what can beta testers do on the DM public severs ? (Other than use the Flight panel )

Not much that I'm aware of.
And yes ArcPhoenix you should get Beta! I was in the same situation earlier but I mainly got it to A) Be able to access the tranquility of the private server and B) get access to Helium Horror :P and also the fact that I can fly around the server in my Tardis instead of having to walk.
One question. The Beta and the Private server are the same right? So does it run on the Beta version of the mod?

Beta and private server are the same, and i believe both public and private are on the same DM version right now.
(Also you can still go on public with a newer beta version of the mod i believe (although the new stuff wouldn't work on the server))
Yes they are on the same version at the moment but when a Beta Update comes out the Beta server will update first. then once the bugs are squashed then the update is made public. Honestly, Yes it is worth it to buy beta. and soon i'll be trying to buy SWDBae

They're very different: on the public server you're in survival but on the beta server you're in creative, beta server has many towns and a very deep rp lore(if you're into rp, that is) there are also less users(max was 20 one night), there's more info in one of my threads here: https://swdteam.co.uk/forum?p=thread&tid=205 and yes, you should buy beta! It's quite fun in my opinion

I think I'll get Beta.
One question though, does anyone know if Paypal has prepaid cards in stores? Or does a credit card have to be used?

As far as I know you have to use a credit card or a debit card. If you don't have an account you can click the "use credit/debit card" option after you have confirmed your purchase.
