Basically, SOTO tends to render what's left of the doors, instead of in front. Also, the Coral Interior door model is kind of bugged. Copper too, but I don't have a screenshot of that.

Outside the TARDIS:

It renders the nearest 90 degree angle.

Huh. Im not trying to say you're wrong, but Im not sure if the direction SOTO was rendering is the closest 90 degree angle.
