Christmas Event 2019 Week 2/4

Hey everyone! Head-Elf Ben1Ben1 here! I hope you all are enjoying the Christmas spawn and thank you for all the skins entered for this week's competition! The winner this week is __Marble__ and they have won $500 and a present! There was only one vote between 1st and 2nd so we decided to give 2nd a prize too, who was Supreme_Timelord and they won a present! You all did awesome!

This week there is a lot of Christmas joy being spread around the server and it’s all starting in one place!

THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE!

This will be the center of the Christmas event this month! Please enjoy having a look around, come visit the reindeers, doing some shopping at the Christmas market and have a snowball fight at the snow forts! Please keep the Christmas spirit by not griefing otherwise you will be put on the naughty list! 

The only thing is we aren’t sure where Santa is - I had a look in the workshop and I found a note saying he has gone to the moovies. I’m sure he will be home soon! Probably having a rest before the big day!

Week 2's activities (8th-15th December):

We have a lot of activities this week! 

The first activity is to decorate your houses and towns! Fill your cities will the Christmas spirit! Put up some Christmas trees and leave presents for each other! Towns that decorate for Christmas will earn prizes! Speak to me on DMU once you have decorated them!

Then, of course, we now have the Christmas village! Take a trip on the polar express at spawn to arrive at the village! Come explore and have fun! Some of our elves will be leading activities over the week in the village.

Activities that will be released in the Christmas village this week:

• Ice Fishing

• Snowball fights

• Boat battles

• Christmas shopping at the market 

• Snowman building competition (ONLY HERE  FOR ONE WEEK)

• Christmas raffle 

• And more...

Snowman building competition:

Yes! We are having a snowman building competition! The rules and plots for the competition can be found in the Christmas village! Just turn right at the end of the bridge and keep walking forward! I look forward to seeing all your designs! This competition lasts only ONE week. 

Christmas raffle:

We will be holding a Christmas raffle giving out prizes to players! It is all explained at the stall by the train station at the Christmas village! Prizes include 1000 DMU dollars, banners, Christmas presents and more! Come buy tickets to take part, you can buy as many as you want! The raffle winners will be randomly selected in a couple of weeks time.

Skin competition:

Every week this month we will be having a different skin competition with a different Christmas theme! Week 2's theme is Christmas Carols! Design a skin for one of the 12 days of Christmas or let Rudolph finally join in with monopoly! Celebrate your favourite Christmas tune in Minecraft! 

Skin Competition Rules:

- It MUST be your own original design

- You earn points for Originality, Design and Meeting the Theme

- To enter your skin either PM @Ben1Ben1#9857 on discord a picture of your skin or show one of the staff members on DMU your skin, and they will take a picture and send it to Ben1Ben1

- You must enter your skin before midnight GMT on Saturday the 14th or it won’t count.
