All Ambient has to do is appeal if he wants to return. He has said he will not appeal this ban. 

There's no need for one. He can appeal just like any other player and will probably be unbanned. However he decided he doesn't want to do that

He said he wanted to move on from DM and had been planning too.
Implying he doesn't want to come back any time soon.
